I wanted to let you all know that alt.archery.traditional (a.a.t) is
being reproposed by one of the best known alt.config contributors,
"Bill the Cat"

Bill has a reputation for getting things done.  When he proposes a
newgroup, the big news servers usually listen ... they know it's not
just some punk joking around.

So, I wanted to thank publicly thank Bill and Jonathan Grobe who have
helped push this group through.

Thanks to them, we should all see alt.archery.traditional appear on
the news servers within 48 hours.  If you want to see it, contact your
news administrator (if you don't know who that is, contact anyone at
your ISP) and ask them to carry alt.archery.traditional.

Thanks to everyone who emailed me letter of support and to those who
discussed this proposal in the newsgroups.  It was your input that
helped determine that a.a.t was indeed a viable newsgroup with enough
supporters to justify its existence.

We did it everyone!  It's a boy!

and he's alive and kicking!

I received the announcement about 5 minutes ago and composed a query
for my ISP.  Before sending it, I clicked on "update newsgroup lists"
in my reader, and there it is!  Guess I won't be sending the message
to my ISP :-)
