Elaina of Oaklawn Reminds me of a story I heard once of a unit that returned from the National Training Center a few days before Pennsic started. There was a battalion formation after everybody got off of the plane and after the Battalion Commander had finished telling the troops about what a good job they had just done, he called the Battalion Sergeant Major forward (as normally would happen). Before he turned the formation back over to the Sar-Major he signaled for a waiting limo to approach. Once it got there he kneeled before the Sar-Major and said in a loud, clear voice for all to hear, "The chariot awaits, your Majestey, shall we away to the battlefield?"
