And I got this. The first sentence refers to my fear that he was overrun by email after his address was posted here. :-) I also asked whether the original artists might return to their respective series: ---- Hi Yngvar, So far you're the second person to inquire so it's not too bad. Right now our plan is to slowly grow the ElfQuest Library here at DC. This year we have the six Grand Quest volumes plus the second volume in the Archives series. In July, The Searcher and the Sword will come out as the first new work in years. Wendy, Richard and I are just now talking about 2005. One thing we have discussed was what to do about Recognition and Mender's Tale. They certainly haven't been forgotten but we want to be careful about stories that Wendy is not directly involved in since part of the re-introduction of the material was to present Wendy and Richard's vision to a new audience. Certainly the people who started these projects will be invited back to complete them which is just another element in the equation. So I guess the bottom line for right now is patience. ###### From: Duggy Newsgroups: rec.arts.comics.elfquest Subject: Re: unfinished tales -- Bob Greenberger replies Date: Sun, 25 Apr 2004 17:35:15 +1000 Organization: James Cook University Lines: 14 Message-ID: References: NNTP-Posting-Host: tvl-news.jcu.edu.au Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=X-UNKNOWN Content-Transfer-Encoding: QUOTED-PRINTABLE X-Trace: bunyip.cc.uq.edu.au 1082878517 32346 137.219.16.111 (25 Apr 2004 07:35:17 GMT) X-Complaints-To: news@uq.edu.au NNTP-Posting-Date: 25 Apr 2004 07:35:17 GMT In-Reply-To: X-Original-NNTP-Posting-Host: marlin.jcu.edu.au X-Original-Trace: 25 Apr 2004 17:35:15 +1000, marlin.jcu.edu.au Path: redlance.franklin.ch!pfaff2.ethz.ch!news-zh.switch.ch!switch.ch!news.mailgate.org!newsfeed.icl.net!news-lond.gip.net!news.gsl.net!gip.net!news.tele.dk!news.tele.dk!small.news.tele.dk!enews.sgi.com!news.xtra.co.nz!news.mel.connect.com.au!news.syd.connect.com.au!news.bri.connect.com.au!bunyip.cc.uq.edu.au!news.jcu.edu.au!marlin.jcu.edu.au!jc122739 Xref: redlance.franklin.ch rec.arts.comics.elfquest:1057 On Wed, 21 Apr 2004, Yngvar F=F8lling wrote: >I finally got off my a**, and sent off an email to Bob Greenberger=20 >myself, making it clear that intended to post his reply. The most recent incarnation of all the material was the black and white Readers Collections from WaRP. Most of those should still be readily available if you search for them.
