It was a free-wheeling examination not simply of the story of the elves, but of the underlying principles that extend from EQ out into the real world. Good stuff, it was. It was broadcast live at the time, and there was talk of it being rebroadcast at some point in the future. That point is tomorrow, Sunday, November 10 at 3 pm Eastern time (2 pm Central, 1 pm Mountain, 12 noon Pacific - if you're outside the USA apply whatever time zone shift you need). Here's the positive twist - it's being broadcast via the Web, so you don't need to live in the northern New York area, or string a mile-high antenna to receive it! Just tune your web browser to: http://www.wxbh.com/ ...then click on the "enter" button, and then click the "On Air" icon. Barring technical difficulties, you'll hear the entire interview streamed right into your computer. Hope you enjoy! There may very well be more of this sort of thing in the future. Shade and sweet bit-rates, Richard Pini ###### Path: chonsp.franklin.ch!not-for-mail From: Neil Franklin Newsgroups: rec.arts.comics.elfquest Subject: Re: The Metaphysics of Elfquest Date: 10 Nov 2002 00:13:50 +0100 Organization: My own Private Self Lines: 31 Message-ID: <6uwunm72vl.fsf@chonsp.franklin.ch> References: <091120021342161569%rpini@elfquest.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: chonsp.franklin.ch X-Trace: chonsp.franklin.ch 1036883630 2137 10.0.3.2 (9 Nov 2002 23:13:50 GMT) X-Complaints-To: news@chonsp.franklin.ch NNTP-Posting-Date: 9 Nov 2002 23:13:50 GMT Cc: poster X-Newsreader: Gnus v5.7/Emacs 20.4 Xref: chonsp.franklin.ch rec.arts.comics.elfquest:510 Richard Pini writes: > interview on "The Metaphysics of Elfquest" for a station in the > northeast. Would you consider posting the interview as text, or putting it up as an web page on www.elfquest.com (perhaps in the oPINIon section)? -- Neil Franklin, neil@franklin.ch.remove http://neil.franklin.ch/ Hacker, Unix Guru, El Eng HTL/BSc, Programmer, Archer, Blacksmith - hardware runs the world, software controls the hardware code generates the software, have you coded today? ###### Subject: Re: The Metaphysics of Elfquest From: Richard Pini Newsgroups: rec.arts.comics.elfquest Message-ID: <101120021358123610%rpini@elfquest.com> References: <091120021342161569%rpini@elfquest.com> <6uwunm72vl.fsf@chonsp.franklin.ch> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-transfer-encoding: 8bit Mail-Copies-To: poster User-Agent: Thoth/1.5.1 (Carbon/OS X) Lines: 38 Date: Sun, 10 Nov 2002 18:58:08 GMT NNTP-Posting-Host: 24.45.88.169 X-Trace: news4.srv.hcvlny.cv.net 1036954688 24.45.88.169 (Sun, 10 Nov 2002 13:58:08 EST) NNTP-Posting-Date: Sun, 10 Nov 2002 13:58:08 EST Organization: Optimum Online Path: chonsp.franklin.ch!pfaff.ethz.ch!news-zh.switch.ch!news.imp.ch!news.imp.ch!newsfeed.stueberl.de!cox.net!cyclone1.gnilink.net!wn11feed!worldnet.att.net!24.30.200.11!news-east.rr.com!news01.optonline.net!news4.srv.hcvlny.cv.net.POSTED!53ab2750!not-for-mail Xref: chonsp.franklin.ch rec.arts.comics.elfquest:511 In article <6uwunm72vl.fsf@chonsp.franklin.ch>, Neil Franklin wrote: > Richard Pini writes: > > > interview on "The Metaphysics of Elfquest" for a station in the > > northeast.
