So I've read, and own, all titles of the original story through to KotBW, as well as HY, Shards, Jink, Rebels, etc. After this I sort of just stopped reading Elfquest for several reasons. But I've always sort of wondered what came after. So I was hoping somebody could provide me with some updates. Maybe some websites exist? What I'm particularly curious about is the fate of the "old" elves, along with the question to where Jink came from (parents, grandparents etc.) Hope somebody can help an old fan a little, -Juan El Fadda ###### From: Yngvar =?Iso-8859-1?Q?F=F8lling?= Newsgroups: rec.arts.comics.elfquest Subject: Re: update/spoilers? In article <97541677.0205040349.1903b131@posting.google.com>, juan.el.fadda@pornostjerne.zzn.com says... ^^^^^^^^^^^^ Whoops, where did this come from? Are you aware that "pornostjerne" is Norwegian for "porn star"? > But I've always sort of wondered what came after. So I was hoping > somebody could provide me with some updates. Maybe some websites > exist? What I'm particularly curious about is the fate of the "old" > elves, along with the question to where Jink came from (parents, > grandparents etc.) Jink's parentage is still up in the air (literally), though there has been a number of hints. "Jink" and "Rebels" were merged in the new title "Futurequest", which ran for some issues in the anthology title. It seemed to be stated pretty clearly that Jink's father was identical to the current "Master of the Palace", whoever that was. We saw said master from behind, and he did kind of look like Cutter with a cape, but that may well have been a red herring. We also saw clearly *one* well-known wolfrider (I'll skip saying which one) in the Palace. However, "Futurequest" was one of several storylines that were stopped in mid-story when the anthology title ended. The only one of the then running series that actually has been finished in TPB form so far, is "Wolfrider". On top of it all, last fall we got an issue of a new story called "Recognition", which *also* is unfinished per today. It was a new "Wild Hunt" tale, but we still haven't seen the end of the last one, which I seem to remember was called "Mender's Tale". So Richard, if you're there, any news about any the following stories that I can think of right now? Wavedancers Futurequest Wild Hunt/Mender's Tale Recognition There was also "Fire-Eye", but it seemed pretty clear that we wouldn't see any more of that. Then there was "Rogue's Curse", which consisted more of fairly short stories, and I believe that they were all finished. Except strangely enough, the first one, but when collected in book form, that story had still gotten a "The End" slapped on, so I guess we'll never see any more of that either. Still, I think Rogue's Curse still lacks an overall conclusion. Yngvar
