I can never look at anyone's visualization of Hobbiton without thinking of Mr. Toad and his ill-advised motor-car. But I want it to run through a pipe and come out a spigot, or even a shower head. I could rig a pot higher up a hill and run the water down from there, but for a real shower that would take a lot of water. Even for a real bath. A big cistern rigged to a solar heating device (low-tech) would give me a decent amount of water. Not as hot as a HW tank would, but warm enough to shower, wash hands, etc. For a nice long bath I'd supplement with boiled water, to get the proper temp. -- mc TeaLady / mari conroy ###### From: the_ringbearer1@hotmail.com (Mic S.)
