I thought berserk or baresark rage was subtly different from that. I would tend to describe Eomer's reaction as a 'cold battle fury', rather than unreasoning rage. I looked into it a bit more, and apparently Beorn(!) is the character in Tolkien's writings most like a baresark (= bear shirt) warrior. A point I think was missed in the debate on that chapter of The Hobbit. IIRC correctly, there is a scene in the RotK movie trailer where Éomer is embracing someone on the Pelennor, wailing. I assumed it was this segment from the book.
