Before doing that (total capitulaion) we perhaps should reconsider the semi-capitulation idea of having rec.arts.BOOKS.tolkien soley for book related stuff, and banning the film stuff to alt.fan.tolkien. We _do_ have the luxury of 2 newsgroups. And the difference has become next to none lately (wow, 2/3 crossposts according to my news server, yes really!). So what about giving the split a new purpose? Make anything film related totally off topic on r.a.b.t. And do not post followups to film stuff on it, apart from flaming the perpetrators until it sinks in. And if one really does want to followup, then redirect it to a.f.t. -- Neil Franklin, neil@franklin.ch.remove http://neil.franklin.ch/ Hacker, Unix Guru, El Eng HTL/BSc, Sysadmin, Archer, Roleplayer - Intellectual Property is Intellectual Robbery
