The top 10 reasons Peter Jackson should turn LOTR over to Monty Python.

10.  John Cleese as Strider.  Very sexy.

9.  They make bursting into ridiculous songs look natural.

8.  They might be able to talk Jamie Lee Curtis into a cameo as Arwen.  

7.  Coconuts are cheaper to film than horses.

6.  Their Frodo would already have a convincing English accent.

5.  They might be able to talk Jamie Lee Curtis into a cameo as Eowyn.

4.  The, er, stylistic animation would be so cool for special effects.

3.  "Narrative interludes" are necessary for remaining faithful to the
story as JRRT wrote it.

2.  They might be able to talk Jamie Lee Curtis into a cameo as

And the Number One reason Monty Python should do LOTR....

John Cleese as Gandalf/Tim certanly.
John Cleese also as Aragon, and all the Male Evels, being the nessecary
height.
Graham Chapman (Sadly deceased) as Frodo?
