The book was filled with artwork and short stories by fans. The only distinctive thing I can remember of the book was that one of the shorts was a spoof of the LotR where the fellowship was trying to protect their picnic from Sauron and the orcs. I can only assume that this is long out of print. ###### From: prembone@excitebitespam.com (Prembone) Newsgroups: rec.arts.books.tolkien Subject: Re: Which book was this? I don't know, but if you do find out what it is, let me know. ;-) It sounds like it would be fun to read. The Tolkien Scrapbook, Running Press 1978, edited by Alida Becker, ISBN 0-89471-082-6 It has all kinds of fun stuff.
