I don't read newsgroups often, but is there a decent synopsis of LOTR on
the net?  Maybe someone has a URL or a text file they can send to me? 
I've just finished reading Return of the King and I want to read a
straight description of the story.  ;)

A "decent synopsis".  I'm not sure about that.  I just looked at a Web site that
has a LOTR synopsis but I didn't read through that section.  The URL is:
