I have been writing about business and technology for about 20 years -- including quite a few articles about DEC (most notably, a cover story on Alpha for Electronic Business and a recent San Jose Mercury book review of "DEC is Dead: Long Live DEC"). I also did some consulting work for DEC in the 1990s. Last year I published a book, "Route 128 and the Birth of the Age of High Tech," through Arcadia Publishing. That book included about 30 images related to Digital. [You can find more about the book and about me at web site.] So, as I mentioned, I'm looking for help on this project from DEC veterans. Is anyone out there in possession of any "official" DEC photos OR any non-official snapshots you would be willing to let me borrow and reproduce. I'm trying to avoid too many of the posed product shots but I may use some. And I'm also interested in team shots, group shots, social occasions, etc. I can't promise I'll use everything and I will ultimately need you to sign some paperwork permitting me to use any images that do get selected for the book. I'm also, of course, interested in your comments and input generally.
