There are two things that you can do. You can do it the "right" way by putting the command in the customer command table or you can do it the easy way by substituting a DEC-supported command with the PATH. Now, take everything I'm saying with a very large block of salt because I didn't do this flavor of work. There is a dispatch table in COMMOD (or is it COMMON) called COMTAB (I think). That table is a list of commands that we called CCL commands; I think there were two words/command. The first word was the command in SIXBIT; the second word was flags (I have no idea what they were for but they are important). Unless somebody can point to docs or help you, I would find a command in that table that you'ld never use (PUNCH or PLOT may be an example) and patch the PATH command into that word. REMEMBER TO DO IT IN SIXBIT! > > >any pointers to the appropriate documentation would be appreciated. >Thanks in advance. How did customers learn how to add site-customed commands.
