I've got RPA0: and RPA1: setup as DSKB:, and I've restored my system from a backup tape. I think I've made the setup bootable using SMFILE, now the only question is how do I boot it? I can boot it using a bootable tape, but I don't like that sollution. Of course I think the real answer is probably that I can't have a two disk DSKB: structure. This was brought up awhile back, you can't have a multi-disk boot structure for the KS10. Apparently, KL's could. The 8080 front-end isn't smart enough to handle looking for the microcode across two disks, as it is stored in the TOPS-10 structure. The KL's microcode is loaded by the PDP-11 front-end, and it has it's own area on a single disk somewhere. This is for TOPS-10 by the way... aak ###### From: jmfbahciv@aol.com Newsgroups: alt.sys.pdp10 Subject: Re: Multi-disk TOPS-10 System?
