It stands in the same building I have been working in for over 3 years. Different department. Was a total chance meeting. One person from there need to use one of our computers (SGI OnyxII) because his fastest (SGI Octane) was too small for his data set. While installing software we got into talking about shitty modern PCs (we are both sysadmins) and then on to old computers and he mentioned his 11/70 and that he still has it. Boot disk (RL01) is broken, else it should still be working. I told him if he ever wants a few more m^3 of free space in his computer room, I will gladly take it. Dito some of the other old equipment in there. Also he mentioned that in the section of the building which was converted to the offices I work in (my office has raised floor tiles), in addition to the IBM I knew about, there was also an 10 running TOPS-10. Description seems to have been an 1090. > and thanks for attracting more attention to this. > > eBay: Death by a thousand cuts.
