No, you are not going crazy. That is exactly how they feel. When I first started trying to have OBEs I would lay in a waterbed. After a while my heart beat would cause a slight vibrating sensation which I often thought must be the "vibrations". However, the real vibrations, at least to me, feel more electrical then mechanical. There are also auditory and visual effects as well. The sound is like wind rushing by your ears and when they get strong enough you will be able to see through your eyelids. I must admit that I actually enjoy the vibs myself. I just wish they happened more often. Don't give up it took me 9mo before my first OBE. In fact I would say that over half of my OBEs occurred with little or no vibrations. Often though I am slightly aware of my body and can feel it vibrating while I'm out-of-body. Try asking your non-physical friends (and yes they are watching) for help before practicing, you might be surprised what happens. I had the same thing happen to me last night, but for the 10th time, only my legs or torso came up. I was stuck to my head. Any ideas. BTW.
