Ugh, I hate that. Back around shop-mas I got out and when I realised i was out i was sitting on my couch two rooms away. I was quite enjoying the trip, just looking around and feeling the awe that comes over me to know that I am outside of my body. Then I was looking at my dog who was laying asleep at my feet. Then it was if she saw me there. she started scratching at the floor. When my physical sense heared that two rooms away, I quickly jumped back to waking state. And just to make sure it wasn't a dream, I rant out into the livingroom. My dog was scratching at the carpet right where my feet where. When I went over to pet her she saw me coming and stopped. Did my dog see my astral body? Please help me figure this one out. thanks, Mike http://www.in.net/~dox if you want to check out my moderately lame site. Please help me figure this one out. >thanks, An alternative explanation is that your physical body heard the scratching noise and you interpreted that within your OOBE. One problem I see with the "astral body" explanation is the inconsistency of your dog's behaviour. If it really did start scratching because it saw your astral body, then why did it stop scratching when it saw you after you came out of the OOBE? -- Phil Harrison ###### Path: chonsp.franklin.ch!not-for-mail From: Neil Franklin Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: anyone for this? Perhaps because the astral Michael differs from the dogs expectations derived from experiencing the physical Michael, but s still similar enough for the dog to not regard him as a complete stranger, btu rather as "somewhat changed". Such thing such as noiseless, smellless, no ground vibrations when walking or even floating. Dogs do react with scratching or even barking to things that are "not as expected". -- Neil Franklin, neil@franklin.ch.remove http://neil.franklin.ch/ Nerd, Geek, Hacker, Unix Wizzard, Sysadmin, Roleplayer, Mystic Computer: a toy, speeds work so that you have more time to play
