So, heres a significantly shorter version. I'll leave out most of the details and just tell of the main comcepts. Went about 20 hours without sleep. Did short relaxation exersize and fell immediatley into REM sleep. Became lucid. Shifted LD into an OBE .I do this by something I can only describe as a "mind roll". It causes a shift in my awareness that brings me from an LD to an OBE. This is where things got extremely interesting. I was a completely different 'person'. I had an entirely different mind set, motivations, emotions, thought prosess, etc. I was a completely different self from my normal day-to-day self, but it felt completely normal and seemd to be the 'real' me. I wasnt even aware at the time that it was different, it just seemed to be my actual self at that place/time. Experienced extreme emotions of thankfullness, love, gratitude, and empathy with another entity that I knew at the time, and knew she had helped me greatly, but I dont remeber why. This other self of mine just knew that she had helped me greatly and was 100% thankfull towards her. I then shifted into another completely differnt self though a false awakening. Then back to a LD, again as a different self, again through a false awakening. Then a rather unfocused OBE (again as a different self and through a false awakening). Then a final false awakening into a non-lucid dream that was to me reality and I was aware of the other OBEs and LD I had had before. Then I awoke for real to where I am now. Every shift in consciousness brought about a completely different version of self that is in no way similar to who I am now. Each false awakening brought about very interesting experiences and my different selves performed specific tasks. These tasks were clearly the intent of my different selves and ranged from thanking someone I felt very close with, to going to myslef at a different time/place and teaching myself something (I wish i could remeber what I was teaching myself). It was almost as if I was going to meet myself in a different incarnation to pass on important information. All very interestng. I never knew that I had so many different levels of 'self' going about and doing their own thing. I deffinaltey came out of this experience with some new 'knowns' and quite a bit more questions about who I really am. Im looking forward to experiencing something similar in the near future. Im going to focus on finding other aspect of myself and see what happens. Keep Dreaming :-) PJ ###### From: "claire" Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: Multiple consciousness while OBE Date: Thu, 27 Jan 2000 19:03:27 -0500 Organization: Posted via Supernews, http://www.supernews.com Lines: 67 Message-ID: References: <20000126172956.08702.00000098@ng-fq1.aol.com> X-Complaints-To: newsabuse@supernews.com X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 4.72.3110.5 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V4.72.3110.3 Path: chonsp.franklin.ch!pfaff.ethz.ch!news-zh.switch.ch!newsfeed-zh.ip-plus.net!news.ip-plus.net!news.datacomm.ch!newscore.gigabell.net!news0.de.colt.net!colt.net!news.maxwell.syr.edu!newsfeed.stanford.edu!remarQ70!rQdQ!supernews.com!remarQ.com!corp.supernews.com!not-for-mail Xref: chonsp.franklin.ch alt.out-of-body:31464 Thank you for posting PatrikJohn. It was very interesting. I was wondering, was the woman you were thankful towards someone you currently know or was this other personality thinking back about some other time and place? Just curious.
