The interesting thing about a localized OBE - it's right where you are. If I'm in Ohio - I shift into Ohio. If I'm in Florida - I shift into Florida. No matter where I am - that is usually where I shift to. I made the shift the other day and explored the local territory. I went into my neighbor's apartment. I had met her earlier - so I knew what she was like - but I hadn't been in her apartment. When I went into her place, I first saw it as a simple living room. As I continued to wander around, the place began to fill up with furniture - with multiple living room, dining room, and bedroom furniture. All different in design, but all similar in function. I'm not exactly sure what that was all about. I was either looking at all of her emotional baggage about past dwellings - or I was looking at past furnishings of the apartment's previous tenants - or I popped a leak in my "image recognition" library... go figure... Then I zipped around outside. I then went up to the apartment upstairs and wandered around a bit. Then I went to their balcony and jumped off like I use to jump from the 16th floor (Ohio). Piece o' cake :-) Landed square on my feet. Felt so good I flew back upstairs and did it again :-) Of course, 10 feet up is a little different than about 160 feet... Like I said - not worth much, but better then bitching about this and that. Bart ###### From: "B.D. Wish I could do it like that . . . I'll keep working at it. . . Strangely enough IMO it is a natural thing and your post reminded me of that somehow; Don't you ever worry OOB that you might still be in the physbod when you're jumping off a balcony? :o( I chickened out in a lucid dream and wouldn't jump out of the window because it felt so real . . . Keep us posted if you ever physically see this neighbour's furniture - And by the way Bart, you really should write an OBE book. I would certainly buy it.
