And as I am a Virgo, being conceived around this time does have some, slight, relevance to my question. Last night, I had my first full blown LD/OBE of the week. Unfortunately, it was ended prematurely by some unaware, unconscious, desire. After leaving my body, floating around my bedroom, noting the wrong wallpaper on my bedroom walls, flying through the windows, floating round my unrecognisable neighbourhood, and observing a funny looking small cottage, I was invited in for tea, by two knee high strange looking wizards! I left their small house (cant remember what the hell we talked about), with my remembered intention of trying to travel to a previous OBE/LD location, by using a my vibrations in a vortrex, as discussed previously with Janice and Craig. Unfortunately, or fortunately as I wasn't too bothered about being distracted at the time, as a very attractive girl appeared in front of me, wearing a very small bikini. So, instead of carrying out my intention, I ...erm...carried on with the girl! Unfortunately, I woke up half way through, and couldn't believe I had just wasted such an opportunity...... to carry out my original intention. My question isn't about sexual desires in OBE/LDs and their obvious hindrance and distraction into much more fascinating experiences. But I was curious if others, also find sexual experiences unrealistic and superficial in OBE/LDs? In the way that the experience feels less like physical sex, and more like a mental construction of physical sex. In my non-conscious dreams, I still have normal physical sex, its just feels totally different when in my OBE/LDs. Or I am just sexually impotent in OBE/LDs and in need of some Astral Viagra? Or may be my star sign influences in ways I am unaware of ?! ; ) Regards, Floating. ###### From: "Trish" Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body,alt.dreams.lucid References: Subject: Re: Sex in OBE/LDs Lines: 57 X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 4.71.1712.3 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V4.72.2106.4 Message-ID: X-Trace: +4UIu4ZvpOOsVx7Oav1TYxxIRhOMD+RbArH7vhR+xzk8dUjFgp8CGiCU1Yl5XJgoi5TF+k9MCmb8!LgJ7t54irUMMv3RCeptq2eURVosPbWgsvxIlsERjsH2SX+qTx1OflyYW6ks0aXe3p7oA8HQsDA== X-Complaints-To: abuse@gte.net X-Abuse-Info: Please be sure to forward a copy of ALL headers X-Abuse-Info: Otherwise we will be unable to process your complaint properly NNTP-Posting-Date: Mon, 20 Dec 1999 03:52:40 GMT Distribution: world Date: Mon, 20 Dec 1999 03:52:40 GMT Path: chonsp.franklin.ch!pfaff.ethz.ch!news-zh.switch.ch!newsfeed-zh.ip-plus.net!news.ip-plus.net!News.Amsterdam.UnisourceCS!skynet.be!news-spur1.maxwell.syr.edu!news.maxwell.syr.edu!cpk-news-hub1.bbnplanet.com!washdc3-snh1.gtei.net!news.gtei.net!dfiatx1-snr1.gtei.net.POSTED!not-for-mail Floating wrote in message ... >Hi All, > >Just a quick, infantile, embarrassing question, before I leave for the >season's celebrations and parties. I'm a Scorpio, and it's the same for me. I think you put it best as stating it's more a mental contruction of physical sex. I do note that it usually occurs later on into the experience, not right away, and (for me) it starts a chain reaction of like behavior. Very dissatisfying. You said it ... a disappointing waste of time. Actually, if my memory serves me correctly, wasn't that the only way he was able to overcome his sexual desire while OOB? He had tried everything he possibly could to stop himself falling into that trap and in the end he tricked his subconscious by letting it think that he was still *gonna get some* later, thereby letting him get on with his predetermined task in the mean time? But from my own experience, this is something that probably has to be learned over a longer period of time, as sometimes I am successful and sometimes I am not. And I agree with you Sue, I do believe some sort of sexual energy is involved, as I too have noticed, when feeling 'horny'. Regards, Floating.
