Hope you enjoy it. Ken November 1, 1999 Around midnight Sunday night (from my journal) I went to bed early tonight because of daylight savings time and because I had been pretty busy the last few weeks and felt like I was on overload. I fell asleep quickly at around 10:30 but just before I did I saw a tremendous hallucination like I've never seen before. I jumped up out of fear and a bright pink curtain of sorts was surrounding my body (like the Northern Lights). I didn't know what it was but it scared me and I tried swiping it away with my hands. It subsided shortly after that. I lied back down and tried to relax. I continued to feel some heavy mind shifts and knew that an OBE was definitely possible that night. I thought I might go OBE right then and there, but ended up falling asleep for a couple of hours instead. When I awoke the shifts still had not subsided and I was ripe for going right into vibrations which I did and with a little more effort than I was used to (had to really hone in on the screeching) I was able to separate. The separation was typical and I moved right out through my bedroom wall, traveled at a high speed for a while and ended up in space. My vision was clear and I could easily see the stars. I was having fun tumbling around in space like an astronaut. It was Halloween night and I guess I had ghosts and goblins on my mind because after requesting to find some people to associate with, some beings formed in front of me out in space. They were dressed in costumes of a sort and were being playful with me. I was pretty spooked by this and told them to chill, since I was getting a little unnerved and was worried about an attack. It turns out they were friendly entities and one of them said they were just having a little fun and not to worry about it. As it turns out these entities were guides and led me to a place that (lo and behold) I had actually been to before. But what was even more amazing was that the guides turned out to be two fellows that I had met on my previous visit to this place. That was really the mind blower. I have never re-met entities on my travels before. The place I was taken was a club of sorts where a lot of folks hung out. It was filled with lots of brass furniture and a fireplace and had a classy look to it. I was shocked and pleased to be with these two guys again as I remember we had gotten along quite well in my last trip here. They both had a great sense of humor and were obviously good friends with each other. They remembered me and were glad to see me again. I had remembered saving someone's life in this club last time I was here but I don't remember the details of it. They remember it as well but the subject changed quickly. I was only there for about 10 minutes when I was called back to my body (bummer). The scene faded and I was back. I have been getting over a cold and it turns out I had a serious tickle in my throat and needed to cough. This was why I came back so suddenly. I of course coughed and cleared my throat and got back into a relaxed state. I only needed to chill for about 10 seconds when the vibes came back again. I separated and ended up out in space just like the first time, and wouldn't you know it, my buddies were there to greet me again. I was so pleased. They led me to yet another club that the three of us had been to before. This place was much more rustic and reminded me of an old mountain club or something in Ireland with old throw rugs on a wooden floor and wood beam ceilings and people sitting around on pillows on the rugs. Apparently these guys liked hanging out in little social settings. I was a little curious about having been to a second place that I had been to before with these two people since to my knowledge I had only seen them once before, so I surmised that we must have gone to both places on the same night last time we met. I chatted with a few of the locals, ordinary friendly people. Then I turned my attention to one of the guys I was with, the younger of the two (looked to be about 20 years old) and asked him if he was living on Earth and if he was just out on an astral trip. He said no, that actually he was born in space on a craft that was owned by the other person we were with and that's where he currently lives. Not much more of interest occurred and then before long I was back in my body. The second trip out was also only about 10 minutes long. Seems my throat needed clearing again. I tried to get out a third time but was unsuccessful. After I returned the first time and was still in a somewhat shifted state, I wanted to remember the events of the first trip out for my journal, but I didn't worry about it too much because I had been there before, was very familiar with the place and so it was easy to describe, then I went into the second trip. But after I returned from the second trip and was unsuccessful at getting out a third time and some of the details started to fade (my mind was now definitely shifting back to ordinary reality) I was struck with the fact that *I had never been to either of these two places before, nor had I ever met these two people before!* I am at a loss to explain this but I suspect that it probably has to do with our astral memory as opposed to our physical memory. I have experienced this contradiction before, but not so blatantly as in this trip. I suppose our universal mind is filled with astral experience that we have accumulated over one or more lifetimes and these are not accessible to us when in our normal state of mind. But while I was at these clubs my memory of them was fresh and it seemed like I had been there maybe a few months or a year ago. So with this in mind I am more inclined to believe that I did have the experience recently, but I simply didn't remember it when I returned last time since it was only an astral memory and not a physical one. Nevertheless, my astral memory didn't forget it and the memory was all quite clear to me during this current visit. While I was out there was no doubt in my mind that I had been to these places before and knew these two people. It wasn't just a Deja Vu but a clear ordinary memory. Yet when I returned absolutely nothing could convince me I had ever seen these people before or been to these places before. What a strange thing! It was so odd how I didn't even question my memory of the situation while I was out, but only when I returned. There is no reason for me to doubt the memory was real, the memory of everything was perfectly intact. I remember looking down one of the hallways, and I knew where it led, the rooms where very familiar but most of all the two people I was with were people I definitely had met before. I was shooting the breeze with them just as I would with anybody that I had met at some point in time before. About the time stretch. I think this might be very possible. I don't usually go for time stretches but if you take your thought a little further it might even be possible that during this visit I may have actually been visiting a time frame in the distant past, with the previous visit just a short time before that. That is a possibility as well. In other words my recent visit out may actually have been occuring hundreds of years ago with a previous excursion happening a few months even before that. I'm still inclined to believe though that the excursion was in current time and the previous visit did occur just a few months ago, but my physical brain did not absorb any of the previous experience, only my astral mind (which is really the universal consciousness mind, quite removed from my personal brain). I'm only leaning toward this because I am inclined to think things "should be as simple as possible but not one bit simpler" (Einstein) And having a vast astral memory and vast astral experiences that are not always accessable to the brain seems a nice simple logical explaination. Since there is no time as we know it outside of the "physical shell", what seems like a month outside of the body could be hundreds of years in the astral. What am I saying? Well, maybe this club is an astral hang out place that you used to go to before this physical life. Perhaps in "astral time", it seems like you were there only one month before, but according to your physical time scale, it was in another life. One of them was wearing the usual stereotypical witch costume, as in the Wizard of Oz. The other fellow was not fully visible so I really only felt he was wearing a costume rather than actually saw one. Once we arrived at our first destination everyone was in ordinary clothing. What ever the reason, it is something that happens from time to time. I have experienced a loss of the experience when ever there are more than one "trips" during a session. Not necessarily trying to get to the same place. I may briefly come back from trip 1. . . the memory is fresh. I go to trip 2, and when I come back I have trip 2 memory, and some of trip 1 is faded. When I wake up in the morning, I can not separate the two experiences. I know I had two, but I am no longer sure what order things happen, or what happened in the first trip that did not in the second. It is odd. . Also, I have had times "out" there where I have met entities that I have known in other life times that were not taking place on earth. When this has happened I have had complete recall of who the entity was, and why it has been so long since I have had an encounter with them. What usuallyhappens with your OBE's? Do you become so excited after reaching the door that you snap back into your body? Or do you just lose consciousness and wake up in the morning? Some advice that works for me is this: when you find yourself OBE, examine the environment. The more entwined you get with your present environment, the more *focused* you will be and the more lucidity you will have. Stare at the door, feel the wall, etc. Let the scene become more and more a reality. I can say this from experience. Will have to keep my cool. I flew out of the window once. . . but don't remember a thing about what happened afterwards. And there was an occasion about 35 years ago when I was in outer space - but someone had taken me there, and I'd never heard of OBES at the time, refused to accept it was a dream even if nobody believed me. The shared info makes such a difference to being able to develop these possibilities, whatever we perceive them to be. Please let us know when you get past your neighbourhood.
