In example you may reside on ground zero in an nuclear explosion or you can rest in center of a sun. But since you while out of body still have the posebillity to observe things as they happend you are still in or 'beside' the physical space time dimension. Here nothing is constant exept for the speed of light and here time and space gets bended by speed or gravity. It dosn't actually matter if the astral-etheric body isn't affected by the enormous gravity near the blackhole since the time you are experiencing are. While you are approaching a black hole time starts slowing down compered to the time of your physicalbody. This may result in that the physical body notices this by some sort of spiritul comunication doppler effect and pulls the as-etbody back home. Or while you think that "ooh this ten seconds of observing this blackhole in a distance of 1000km is really something" your physical body gets hungry or something after having to spend 15 hours in trance. If you manage get close enought for some time and get away teoretically you may find that your body on earth has been dead for some 100 million years. Nothing in this universe can really enter a blackhole it wont get past the event-horizon (surfice of the hole) where time stops and space ends. If you should some screwd way manage to get past the eventhorizon I cant tell what happends some think you pop out of another black hole by a dimensional maskhole. But trying to get into "THE nothing" where time and space are not isn't something I would rekommed. nom@ebox.tninet.se ###### Message-ID: <377504E8.8232D01@privatei.com> From: The Original Ken Reply-To: sculpt@privatei.com Organization: fractal in nature X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.02 [en]C-DIAL (Win95; U) MIME-Version: 1.0 Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: black holes References: <7l2856$d61$2@zingo.tninet.se> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Lines: 52 Date: Sat, 26 Jun 1999 10:50:48 -0600 NNTP-Posting-Host: 208.203.136.186 X-Trace: wormhole.dimensional.com 930415955 208.203.136.186 (Sat, 26 Jun 1999 10:52:35 MDT) NNTP-Posting-Date: Sat, 26 Jun 1999 10:52:35 MDT Path: chonsp.franklin.ch!pfaff.ethz.ch!news-zh.switch.ch!news-ge.switch.ch!news.belnet.be!news-spur1.maxwell.syr.edu!news.maxwell.syr.edu!hermes.visi.com!news-out.visi.com!pulsar.dimensional.com!dimensional.com!wormhole.dimensional.com!not-for-mail Hi Mattias, I would agree that fooling around near a black hole while out might not be wise, but I'm not sure that the consequences would be as severe as you suggest. While OBE it seems that time is transformed into space and so moving through time while OBE is possible simply by moving to the space where the time is now different just as you would move to a different space to change your location. In other words, all time exists simultaneously while OBE and it is simply a matter of chosing which time you will have your experience. Because of this you can visit the past while still being in the same time as your physical body. By extension of this argument it would also be possible then to move through time in an accelerated fasion while still being in the same time as your body. So if you are near a black hole even though time for you would slow down, you would still be in the same time as your body since time is just a movement through space. Upon leaving the vicinity of the hole you would simple move through the time dimension in the opposite direction to get back to your body. It would be your connection with your body that would ensure that you found your way back. Thanks for the post. Most dreams are long experiences, but in the physical they only take a few minuites. -- If you get criticised for doing something you didnt do, then whats the reason to not do it anyway? Maybe time travel back to where your past self left for the blackhole might work. Then you can enter your body. Then again, the time paradox. Wait no. You use you body, and it dies, and they the whole process starts over again. But it's in essence time travel, right?
