Which brings me on to the reason I am writing this. I have heard and read a bit about the Akashic records library, has anyone been there and if so what are they like. There is a wide variety of the descriptions of the Akashic "Library". Also, there seems to be "records" on every level of consciousness - not just the Astral. At this time, I'm not really interested in my, or anyone else's records - so I have very little experience with this area. But, from what little experience I've had with any such records, it appeared to me as several hallways full of TV screens that surrounded my view - top, bottom, left, right - it was very noisy. Since I was there without any interest in my past life, or the lives of others, at the time, I just viewed... As I moved up to a screen, I was completely focused on that view - but as I moved away from a single screen, the noise and confusion from all the others was tremendous. Others have described a library with a librarian who escorts you to a specific area of interest. Then, as you open a book, the scene becomes a "visual" (similar to my experience). The "library" as such is unimportant IMO. What is important is what the records show. Most people view them as a three dimensional record of past events/lives etc. Regards, John. **************************************************** ,-._|\ John Fitzsimons - Melbourne, Australia. / Oz \ johnf@melbpc.org.au, Fidonet 3:632/309 \_,--.x/ http://www.vicnet.net.au/~johnf/welcome.htm v http://www.alphalink.com.au/~johnf/ ###### From: "rbwalton" Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body References: <7jit8f$57k$1@news4.svr.pol.co.uk> <7jkj2i$km9@dfw-ixnews3.ix.netcom.com> Subject: Re: Akashic Records Date: Wed, 9 Jun 1999 18:19:22 -0700 Lines: 76 X-Priority: 3 X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 5.00.2314.1300 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V5.00.2314.1300 NNTP-Posting-Host: 209.142.46.137 X-Original-NNTP-Posting-Host: 209.142.46.137 Message-ID: <375f816c@news1.jps.net> X-Trace: 10 Jun 1999 02:12:12 -0700, 209.142.46.137 X-Original-NNTP-Posting-Host: 209.63.224.240 Path: chonsp.franklin.ch!pfaff.ethz.ch!news-zh.switch.ch!news-ge.switch.ch!enews.sgi.com!news-peer.gip.net!news.gsl.net!gip.net!howland.erols.net!newsfeed.fast.net!uunet!ffx.uu.net!in5.uu.net!news-west.eli.net!news1.jps.net!209.142.46.137 Bart wrote in message news:7jkj2i$km9@dfw-ixnews3.ix.netcom.com... > > Sharon Latham wrote in message <7jit8f$57k$1@news4.svr.pol.co.uk>... > >This is my first posting. I have seen descriptions of how it could be there in the book "Journey of Souls" by Michael Newton. This is a case study of people who reported what they do between life times. In a couple of my own OOBEs I have seen things presented to me on what would pass as large screen monitors. In these cases there was someone with me presenting the material for me to see and understand. And they were willing to show me things twice if I needed in order to make sure I had seen what they wanted me to see. These were things that were coming up in my present life. At the time I would not have thought that it was a view from this "library", but who knows? My opinions have changed a lot in the last few years. -- RBWalton Visit this web page for some useful OOB links. . . www.angelfire.com/ca/onestepbeyond/ Join the search for Intelligent Life in the Universe at home http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ To respond, delete #nospam# rbwalton@#nospam#bigfoot.com ###### From: "Sharon Latham" Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: Akashic Records Date: Sat, 12 Jun 1999 21:23:38 +0100 Organization: Customer of Planet Online Lines: 21 Message-ID: <7jugd7$u64$1@news5.svr.pol.co.uk> References: <7jit8f$57k$1@news4.svr.pol.co.uk> <7jkj2i$km9@dfw-ixnews3.ix.netcom.com> <375f816c@news1.jps.net> NNTP-Posting-Host: modem-96.pointing.dialup.pol.co.uk X-Trace: news5.svr.pol.co.uk 929219815 30916 62.136.118.96 (12 Jun 1999 20:36:55 GMT) NNTP-Posting-Date: 12 Jun 1999 20:36:55 GMT X-Complaints-To: abuse@theplanet.net X-Priority: 3 X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 5.00.2014.211 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V5.00.2014.211 Path: chonsp.franklin.ch!pfaff.ethz.ch!news-zh.switch.ch!news-ge.switch.ch!isdnet!newsfeed.icl.net!colt.net!newspeer.clara.net!news.clara.net!diablo.theplanet.net!news.theplanet.net!newspost.theplanet.net!not-for-mail thank you to all who have told me about the Akashic records, something quite strange happened the other day. I suppose I have this library on my mind when I go to sleep in hopes that I will somehow get there, but I always seem to get distracted (know what I mean Bart?) anyway here's the strange bit. The next morning my 9 year old boy (who btw knows nothing about what I do in my dreams) says to me "mummy I pulled you into my dream last night and you wouldn't stay" "huh" I said "why not?" "you said you were looking for the Kalic Records library" He said, and then he said that I just left him. Now I questioned him about this because it did seem to me that he probably just hadn't caught quite what I had said, but he said he often pulls his brother into his dreams and they play together, and sometimes he stays and sometimes he doesn't. It happens in real life as well when people draw other people to them, and it happens in dreams too. Particularly with relatives that have a close tie to you. However, he may have been disturbing you if you really wanted to make that trip to the library and he was holding you back, not understanding his innocent desire to be with you was keeping you from your own goals. It sounds to me like your son knows he's not to keep his brother or you trapped in his dreams because he wants to play, but to be on the safe side, you might want to mention that you might play with him later and to check first to see if you don't have other things you'd like to do on your own first.Another view is that this "traveling together" shouldn't be done by dragging an unwilling or unprepared person around with you. If you land somewhere too strange for them, you will be responsible for thier fear or whatever subsequent reaction or consequence. It's one thing if they can follow you as you go along but if you physically try to pull them from their bodies and take them somewhere then you are "karmically" responsible for whatever happens.Having said that, Julia is right. Traveling together is rather fun. I think more than anything I was surprised by it, partly the fact that he has been doing this for as long as he can remember and it all seems to come very natural for him. I think I may be trying to hard sometimes to do things and maybe if I thought a bit more like him that it will come natural for me too. Could he have done this ? Yes, certainly, as Claire says anyone can pull you into their dream if they have the knowledge/inffluence to do so. As Claire points out, it isn't a case of whether people can do this. It is a case of whether it is appropriate to do so. Sometimes this process is used to control/attack people. The person is essentially kidnapped astrally and taken to negative realities. This isn't a problem of course if one knows how to protect themselves from such influences while OOB.
