On the last full moon, Julia Hawkes Moore and I set up a little experiment. I asked if she could try to come *pull me out*. I never got final confirmation from her on March 2 (full moon) But I went ahead as planned, and meditated since it was a full moon. ( not knowing that she was indeed trying to reach me.) Anyway while meditating that evening, I clearly saw a woman in the distance to the left of my vision, standing behind something, as if she watching me. She was wearing a long white robe type dress and had long darkish hair that looked as if the wind was blowing. Kinda blew my mind a bit. Later that evening as I was laying in bed watching television, I felt a distinct brush against my left hand that startled me....no.. more like freaked me out..LOL....Of course I looked and nothing was there, and then my cat began to freak, darting and staring at the *air.*...I wrote all this down in my journal, not even making the connection to Julia. Julia writes me the next day and tells me that she did indeed meditate. And what she wrote flipped me out. She confirmed everything I had experienced. So we decided again and confirmed this time that we would try again that night. Here is part of what she saw that night:::::: So here's my report: Flew from darkness into light over Florida, found you. Your room was filled with piles of books, could do with a tidy! You were sitting propped upright on cushions or pillows, meditating. Your hair was centre-parted, tied or scraped back somehow, brown with grey threads. Interesting , experienced-looking face, broad mouth. ok...she described me to a T.............I always meditate laying down on my stomache but for some reason I tried something new. This is the first time EVER.. that I have meditated propped up on several pillows. I have dark hair parted slightly to the left of center, with gray streaks. On my bedside table are indeed several books, and to the left of my bed, a large, rather sloppy bookshelf. I was unaware of her this time but have no doubt that she was standin' in my bedroom...LOL... Sure is cheaper than over priced airline tickets..now if I can just get to England. Next obe, I'm Britain bound ! Thanks friend. love, Laura :) ###### From: spicyjem@aol.comJokeMail (Spicy Jem) Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: Julia flew to Florida... I am so excited to hear this experience....ESPECIALLY since Clairity had just finished checking out my bedroom the other night! I like this idea that we pair up and try to meet on *specific* nights. If you recall, (I know Laura does), this is exactly what her and I did a couple weeks ago, and it was at this time that I succeeded in going OOBE. I dont know how the rest of you feel, but my desire to go OOBE increases even more when I have an objective in mind. So Clarity, if you want, maybe you and I can work together and try to establish more *hits* at a specific place. Same with Julia and Laura. Here's another thought I was thinking.....in most Chirstian churches ( and perhaps many other religions), they have regular retreats. During these retreats, they all meet someplace and fellowship together. Some of these people do it because their spirituality is strong and it feels good to be amongst others of *like faith*. Other people go to the retreats because they are having problems and need a renewel of strength. At any rate, can you just imagine what it would be like if we all planned an actual, physical reunion to meet and have our own seminars for a few days (like Friday through Sunday). Obviously, the problem is financial restictions to travel to a specific place, but just imagine the joyful spirit that we would be in....the awesomeness to sit down one on one and pick each others brains! To be able to look in the other persons eyes and see their excitement. Better yet, take long walks with each other and contemplate on the unknown! Sorry....I get excited just thinking about it. I feel energized knowing that Clairity saw my room (even though it looks like a grenade went off in it), and I am happy to hear about Julia and Laura's experience. I have the next two days off to sleep in, so I would like to hook up with someone (Clarity?) to see if I can get out. Keep smiling everyone! <3 Jeff Mash <3 To email me, remove the "JokeMail" in the address. Need a laugh? Yes, that was the idea. I have no desire to prove it to outsiders. >Not as "objective" proof. However, that may > be all that you required. :-) Certainly see above. For those that have been following the thread I regard this as a bit of fun. I regard it as being useful to, and will encourage, the inexperienced, the lurkers and the newbies. I am interested in passive research if that is a correct description. For instance Clairity, I would ask you what sort of picture did you have of Jeffs room? Was it in detail or vague fractal images? TV type colour (color), B&W, blue & White, orange & white or what? How was the trip set out did you travel, float around the room blah blah blah ? The most oft quoted saying that I like is "He that never made a mistake, never made anything" or words to that effect :) And here the only expense is your time. Lets enjoy it and to heck with the hecklers ;) I have not said anything on this net which indicates the content of the room in mind. Nope, not a dicky bird, and if looking at recent posts it has yet to be decorated in this years spring-clean! So this should and would be fun! No prizes-just your own satisfaction of knowing that you had a go. It does not matter if it is a complete missssssssssss :) Frankly I like them but thats another story :) This could be repeated for anybody else with a room to view, and I don't mind if I miss or hit but as long as we detail our findings I am sure we would enjoy it and others experiences and have something of value at the end. Jim, if you're asking about the picture that I studied before my attempt.. it was a color picture of JUST Jeff from the waist up. There is very little background in the picture and no background images that I can make out. I have NEVER seen a picture of Jeff's room nor had he any idea that I was actually going to try to visit him.. he mentioned it in jest and I simply decided to try. We had never previously discussed where he lived, who he lived with or the condition of his room. I simply downloaded his picture from his JokeMail website and used it. I think that's why he posted my results to the newsgroup.. he was simply so surprised by the whole thing. If you're asking about how his room appeared to me during my visit, I remember it being in very "real life" color (almost to the point of "lucid" color). I felt very *there* if that makes any sense at all. As to how I traveled.. I rode there on the back of a big purple cartoon genie (how embarrassing!) and once I got to his room, I floated (I have no recollection of my feet ever touching the ground). > The most oft quoted saying that I like is "He that never made a > mistake, never made anything" or words to that effect :) And here the > only expense is your time. No, I saw that it was a picture of Jeff. > If you're asking about how his room appeared to me during my visit, Yes, that's it :) > I > remember it being in very "real life" color (almost to the point of "lucid" > color). I felt very *there* if that makes any sense at all. Yes, it makes sense to me and gives me a fuller picture (pardon the non intended pun :)) of your experience. In the early stages of anything new to me I learn far more from others experiences than I can from my own so it is important to get as much detail as possible. *Thinks....I must start a new thread on vision in our experiences* > As to how I traveled.. No, I did get this from your report. Yes quite funny but embarrassing? NO! We all grow up someday teh heh :) (Sooooorrrryyyy Clairity, couldn't help myself :)) > and once I got to his room, I floated (I have no > recollection of my feet ever touching the ground). Mmmmmmm, that was what I meant. People usually do not include these details. Perhaps it goes without saying, if so then I am missing something. OR, perhaps it makes the post way toooooo long? My last one I flew to destination but walked when I got there. Think I may have gone LD then. > So this > > should and would be fun! Oh, sooooooorrryyyyy! ;-( I do not want you to think I am an 'ole meaney! Prizes *will* now be organised. Each and every successful visitor can pick up their *Certificate of Successful Visitation To The County Of East Sussex* whilst obe. It must then be taken to, and signed by, the official scrutineer (yet to volunteer) to be validated (also when obe) ;-) If anyone wants a likeness ( ;-) ) of me to help tune in, I believe there is a mugshot still on the groups sign in thingy set up last year. Now, how about next weekend? Are you plus/minus GMT? I am usually overcome with tiredness (mmmmmm cannot keep awake :)) between 12.00 midnight and 06.00 in the morning GMT.
