Well my concious one anyway :-) Last night I tried the sssllooowww breathing mentioned here yesterday and found something happening within about 5 minutes (surprise, surprise because nothing's been happening for sometime). I also tried the visualisation of the vibrations down the back of the neck as an inducement, and tried seeing the smallest of them amplify. Then breathing in light and out the impurities. I vaguely remember trying to visualise the white light beam from the head. My body went all relaxed and I could not feel my limbs. I was re-affirming my intention to go oob and go visiting. Suddenly, my affirmation got pushed back in my throat and another came streaming in from the *up/out there* saying (I was on my back) "Let the healing of the universe come inside you"! Well I was amazed! Then my hands/knuckles, knees and feet felt as if they had swollen, became warm-then hot, then tingled like mad but not too much to bear. They stayed like this for about.....I dunno....8/10 minutes. My partner then came in the bedroom and I explained to her what was happning. My hands/knees/feet felt the same but with no arms or legs connecting them to me...... wierder and wierder! I did not want to move in case I stopped the process whatever it was. I do have arthritus in those very parts and would not want to stop any healing. They have been quite painful but they are nowhere near as bad as some people have it. Well my wife did have to get in the bed so about 6/8 minutes later I had to move, then it all stopped. Today I have not felt any twinges in any hinges! a) Does this sound like the usual healing process? b) How long would it normally last before stopping if I had not done so? You are tapping into the universal source of healing and energy. Most healers channel this through their bodies into the patient; you have accessed it directly! Congratulations! When I channel healing, it comes as a powerful blast of hot energy lasting perhaps a minute. It pours into the afflicted area but also affects the base of the brain, I was told by a rather surprised healer I did this to recently. To me it manifests as a kind of diagnostic xray identifying the location of health problems. She complained of a bad knee and had a series of xrays showing no problem there, but I could see an arthritic growth in her hip which was causing the knee pain. All I could do in that instance was to cool and relax the stressed knee muscles, the arthritis would take longer to help. Other healers take perhaps 30 minutes, much more gently and in a consistent and controlled fashion. Matthew Manning heals in seconds, apparently, which is why he charges £60 for 20 minutes and people fly to him from all over the world. As you had no aches today, then the process lasted the right length of time for you! The main thing, then Jim, is to be thankful for this gift, and to recognise that you have just moved on up to a wonderful new level of experience. You can access this power again whenever you need it, and perhaps you can investigate ways of accessing it to heal other people. I am very happy for you. The obvious ones being what the problem is and how severe is the situation. Just because you no longer felt the healing it doesn't mean that it stopped. If you close your eyes now then you will stop seeing your computer monitor. This doesn't mean that it has ceased to exist does it ? :-) Anyone can get healing during sleep. Not just OOBers. For instance my elbows are usually achey but there was no heat etc in them.
