I have had this feeling on and off (mainly on) for the past five years, especially when I had over slept. But it was just something I have got used to, so I never though much about it until very recently. One or two things I have noticed though:- When I have this 'pressure', I can usually see the more subtle energies such as auras, there seems to be considerably more energy passing around my body (or I am simply more aware of whats already there) and I can usually raise energy much easier to the point of being able to go OB, but for the past six months (aghhhh!) I have not been able to go any further. I can only think of this as being pressure on the third eye region. As with zippy I would very much like to know other people opinions. This can result from going OOB via your third eye chakra and/or attempting to use your third eye vision (clairvoyance). The former is very rare but the latter is quite common. If you concentrate on having hot, bright, golden (or white) light, radiating outwards in that area that should help. Both chakra underdevelopment, and/or blockages, can result in your type of symptoms.
