Hi all! I am trying to get ideas for things to do, places to go or people to meet while OOB. Please share some of your interesting experiences. I appreciate any and all replies! Take care and thanks! Clairity I think my best experiences usually come when I just let them be guided by whatever higher self seems to be in control. When I try to direct it someplace, I am generally disappointed with the results. Not that those are not fun, but the ones I have said. . . 'take me where I can do the most good' or 'I want the truth' were most interesting. In the first instance, I went to a place where many people were gathered. I swooped down to a place I felt drawn to, and felt someone grab at my ankles as I took off again. I instantly recognised the being as a long not seen friend who I had know since early on in my own existance. We went to a place I would desscribe as a park with lawn and pathways. . . buildings in the distance, arbors and benches. We sat for a while and caught up on what we had been doing since we last saw each other. This person was very intrigued that I was there, but still in a body in this existence. I gave information about my life. .. all I can remember they told me was it had been some time since they had had a physical body. I was distracted by my body, maybe because we spoke about it. But this did not end the experience. I just had a peculiar feeling of being there, but being aware of my breathing and heart beat at the same time. After a time passed, we took off again together. At some point I realized they had left me. I returned to normal consciousness. Or what passes for it ;-) -- RBWalton Visit this web page for some useful OOB links. . . www.angelfire.com/ca/onestepbeyond/ Join the search for Intelligent Life in the Universe at home http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ To respond, delete #nospam# rbwalton@#nospam#bigfoot.com ###### From: J L Williams Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: People, Places & Things Date: Thu, 14 Jan 1999 14:50:19 GMT Lines: 66 Message-ID: <1999011414501975767@zetnet.co.uk> References: <13880-369BFBA7-126@newsd-104.iap.bryant.webtv.net> <77jlt4$q8m$1@remarQ.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: user-10003900.zetnet.co.uk X-Mailer: ZIMACS Version 1.20c 10003900 Path: chonsp.franklin.ch!pfaff.ethz.ch!news-zh.switch.ch!news.belnet.be!newsgate.cistron.nl!het.net!news.tele2.nl!newsfeed.wirehub.nl!ayres.ftech.net!news.ftech.net!peer.news.zetnet.net!zetnet.co.uk!user-10003900.zetnet.co.uk!not-for-mail The message <77jlt4$q8m$1@remarQ.com> from "Richard" contains these words: Thank you for posting that little gem Richard. I find these visits fascinating to read. It shows how frequently and well some in the group get out. If anyone else has not written up their experinces I would appreciate reading them.
