I have a confession to make: I was wide awake and working on cleaning the house for the bonfire. I also confess my home is a disaster area, and it is still in need of a severe cleaning. But I DID think of you very much, AND I felt the urge to "lie down and go OUT" AND: to top it all off, I ran across some VERY nic pictures of the castle we had targeted to visit. Especially, a picture of the main turret. (Which I thought was very coincidental...) Now, at the bonfire, hopefully I'll have time to sit down and shut my eyes periodically, and think of everyone. Glad you could find me, and I'm also glad your observations coincide perfectly with the fact that I was wide awake. Good to see that you gave it your best try. My experience with pulling people out of body is not so much always a physical pulling maneuver. I have had success with just putting my hand over their heart, and sending a strong wave of vibrational energy into them. Or I touch their feet, and do the same technique, I send a strong wave of energy into their feet. Just like Reiki in a way, but it seems to kind of "shock" them out. I am still kind of learning to pull people out of body. Half the time I pull them out, they are still not conscious of the event, and tend to show signs of a lack of consciousness. How regularly do you go out-of-body? And what kind of techniques do you use? ###### From: silkdick@aol.com (Silk Dick) Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: Dick Silk is very hard to pull... Here is what happened and I trust I missed your place completely? I went to bed for a nap at 8.00'sh pm as obe's work better for me after one. Awoke at 9.30pm and after a cuppa started to meditate as it takes me about 30 mintes to get under. Imagery was slow to rise and when it did was unusual in that it was blue/black based, previously always been orange based. No obe type things so decide to try remote view. Ist vision a womans head with mass of hair, hardly see her face. Next an external corner of a building (single floor-garage?) with a light on the corner. Inside next, a cane or whicker bed not allowed to see the occupants :-) Then nothing but interuptions and side tracked by other things which came out of the blue. Gave up at 12.05 and went to bed to sleep this time. No sign of a bonfire or anything else remotely like an outdoor party. Ah well, perhaps another day! Jim > well... Shudder. >>JHM >> >>lordy! do tell?! what are the details? >>(assuming you don't mind...) No, rather gratified by your curiosity in fact. About a month ago, I had spent a very stressful fortnight begging Arts Officers to give our festival large sums of cash urgently, a major financial crisis having developed. Pouring out my heart, opening my hearty, wearing my heart on my sleeve, being loving and supportive to my man etc. So my heart chakra just overloaded and flipped out. On the previous saturday, I suddenly became very groggy and physically exhausted, went to bed. Stayed there all evening and night, expecting 'flu but with no temperature. Allowed to sleep in until 9am on the sunday, when I suddenly experienced sharp splintering pains around my heart, as though a small light blub had exploded there. Then it felt EXACTLY as though a large, strong hand had reached into my chest and gripped my heart, squeezing it very tightly for about three seconds. Extremely painful. I thought 'oh, no, I know what this is, this is a very bad time for such a thing to happen, and a dozen other rapid thoughts and scenarios before the hand let go. My chest felt bruised and aching for several days, my left arm significantly weaker, my left lung capacity reduced so I keep gasping for breath when pushing the pushchair up a slope etc. My head was very confused, my skin clammy, my heart rate fast and very shallow. I was physically so exhausted by the attack that I kept falling asleep even as the emergency doctor examined me. Doctor 1 decided that I had best stay in bed and 'take things easy' (a bitter joke when caring for two toddlers). Doctor 2, sveral days later, didn't really believe me, declaring that it was just the result of pulling a muscle when lifting a child, despite the symptoms being entirely different. He said that only elderly people got heart attacks, not young ones like me (37), despite the fact that two of my friends had major attacks at this age (well, ok, one was a professional escapologist and fire-eater) and all my relatives died around the age of 60 from heart attacks. Plus, the man at the next desk to my husband at work died suddenly from a heart attack four days after I had mine. this understandably alarmed my husband - who was the first-aider and watched his friend (aged 62) die in his hands. Fortunately, my Homeopath and Healer friends have been wonderful, genuinely concerned and intrigued as to the causes, prevention and remedy. I'm taking a fortifying course of drops from the Homeopath plus pills to take if and when my heart rate begins to 'flutter' again, as it has about once a week since. My Healers have cleansed and strengthened the heart chakra and worked hard to get me to 'open my heart' and let out all the anger and frustration blocking it - not something we nicely-brought up middle-class girls do very often! For anyone worried about their heart I would strongly recommend visiting Healers and a Homeopath as they will undoubtedly have wiser and more pragmatic systems of treatment than the 'standard' Doctor who may well prefer to pretend that nothing has actually happened to a patient who doesn't fit his mechanistic image of illness. Sorry for the bitterness, as there are probably some brilliant doctors out there (I've met a few) but I was severely irritated by this one's attitude. Anyway, I am hugely improved now, and after a particularly deep healing session last night. I am a great deal more cheerful and optimistic about my health. So thanks for asking! All best wishes, Julia HM. ###### From: yingyaman@aol.com (YingYaMan) Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: Dick Silk is very hard to pull... Very interesting. I was wondering if JHM had sucess pulling out Rebecca. Dick Silk was a tough one. Once I tried to have an OBE and actually visited my dad. I don't know if it was a vivid dream or an actial OBE. But anyway, I floated across the state into my Dad's home. As he was sleeping, I pulled on his big toe. His spiriit self came out of his body and we hade a nice conversationn, like normal. Then I was back in my body. My dad has no recall of this and kind a thinks I am nuts. But as I said in a previous post, he told me of a leg problem that actualy happened about a week later. Anyway, I saw your picture Rebecca, I agree with Dick Silk you are a real cutie and also seem to have a very nice earthy aura about your persona. I wish you all the best in 99. - Ying ###### From: hawksmoor@dial.pipex.com (Julia Hawkes-Moore) Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: Dick Silk is very hard to pull... Hello again Dick, well I am surprised that I should pick up on your personal feelings/situation as I thought remote viewing was sort of just that (I now have 4 new books for Christmas that I should have read years ago, so I am about to catch up on my reading. I understand your concern, I gave up smoking 16 years ago because I did not want to harm my childrens health. I did not want them to smoke either. Yet again I am surprised if I picked up on your feelings for his welfare.
