Actually I think that both you and Richard Silk missed the 'Girl's Night Out' when I pulled Beth Roberts out and took her to the Parthenon. Even though she was expecting me, and an accomplished Traveller herself (albeit in a dry patch) she was very heavy to pull out, as though filled with wet sand. I had Trish to help, too, although she did more in the way of standing by and giggling! It was easy to find her, once we had agreed a time to meet, I just thought 'Beth in Utah' and flew over to her, later describing her bedroom accurately (even the colour of her nightdress). I had built up a strong connection of friendship and knew a fair bit about her, so I was really 'Interested' in meeting her. I think that this level of interest and curiousity is important in doing this. Someone wrote it all up somewhere, Neil Franklin I think. Plus, I would never invade anyone's space or pull them out without express permission from them. To pull them out, I would have to be convinced that, like Beth, they knew what to expect. A first time and verifiable OOBE could be a real shocker to an unprepared person! I have no intention of scaring anyone. "Rebecca Drew" my attention to her lovely self, so I'll draw her to me on that evening. Remember: I'm gonna be hosting the party LIVE with real people there. The idea is for you to try to get over and "remote view" the goings on, and hopefully be lucid enough to possibly make a visual / astral appearance. Suggestion: in order to make an actual appearance, one needs to remain STILL long enough for one's astral image to form. pull up a log or tree stump and sit by the fire. I'll be looking around. Also, try to poke the fire or something. try to DO something while you're in focus there. This should be an interesting experiment. I'm curious to see how many of my real guests think there are "ghosts" around the campfire! also, consider the time factor: the fire will be lit at approximately 5 or 5:30 pm CST. We are 6 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time. 1 hour behind Eastern. around 3 or 4 hours ahead of the Pacific Coast. But the fire should burn until midnight, easily. >Is there a fee? :-) (let's step into the bedroom to discuss this in more depth...) >But what are the chances that one being pulled out will be CONSCIOUS??? zero. if one is conscious, one is in one's physical body, and cannot be pulled out (except in extremely rare circumstances). the physical efforts required to walk and talk and breathe at the same time require too much of your astral body to be present within your physical body. LUCID, on the other hand, well... there's a good chance of that. LUCID is when you realize "Hey! I'm dreaming!" or "I'm out of body!" and you can DO something in that state just like you would if you were awake / conscious. >99% of my excursions seem to just happen, but my DESIRE is to become self-projecting. are you a dependent person? or are you independent? major factor there... >And I would be Very Willing to buzz around helping other people out (permission granted) once I'm "out." Well, that makes eight of you asking me today. There evidently is a market niche here. If I were a capitalist, I could charge money and make a fortune. But as I'm not, I'll have to give you the same reply I gave the other seven: Sorry, I don't know you. I did post earlier that I've only tried to do this for a very few people who I consider friends and who specifically asked for my help on a particular occasion. Just going and grabbing complete strangers just because they asked me to does not appeal to me, I'm afraid. But if you stay in this ng, read the books, do the meditations, share your thoughts and experiences, maybe in a few months the situation may well be different. Who knows: Eight (no, nine, I just found another further down the ng) requests in one day may well be fate telling me that this is what I ought to start doing. But for my own sake, as a beginner, I prefer to 'practise' on people whom I 'know' and can trust not to be frightened by the process. I don't really believe in fear, myself, but as long as you do, you may well experience it.
