I have read several books, and I still have not been able to do it. At first, I wasn't sure that this was really possible, but I read stuff from so many people who have said they have done it, that I believe that it must be possible. One of my main problems is, that some sources I've read say that when you project, you can go places in the physical world, in your Astral Body, but other sources say that astral projection is more like a lucid dream. Can somebody help clear this up for me? I am interested in having OBEs and lucid dreams, yet I can't seem to do it. Does anyone have any pointers on what I might try to do first? I am really interested in doing this. Thanks. --- Jake ###### From: "Richard" Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: Astral Projection/Lucid Dreams Date: Mon, 16 Nov 1998 18:10:03 -0800 Organization: Posted via Supernews, http://www.supernews.com - Discussions start here! You want it. . . You read about it, and you get confused by contradictory information that clouds what you think you should experience. OOBEs are definitely different than lucid dreams. How? In a lucid dream you know you are dreaming. In an OOBE you know you are awake. In a lucid dream everything is clear, but they are dream images that can be altered by you if you want. In an OOBE, you see a representation of the physical, or a different reality. What you see in the physical world may not always appear to you exactly as it does to your physical senses. There are many other differences. Check out the page of OOB links below. Read, meditate. Be prepared for a life altering experience if you are successful. But your experiences will be your own. Do not expect them to be exactly as other people describe. -- RBWalton Visit this web page for some useful OOB links. . . www.angelfire.com/ca/onestepbeyond/ To respond, delete #nospam# rbwalton@#nospam#outrageous.net EKAJL86007 wrote in message <19981116190926.16821.00001615@ng-fb2.aol.com>... >I have been interested in the subject of Astral projection for quite some time >now.
