If you can move objects with your mind while in your body then you should be able to do the same while OOB. Attempting to touch physical objects however generally results in one moving through the object. I'm sure your intentions are well meaning, but I fail to understand how you can say these things 'absolutely positively' without a doubt in your mind. I'm sure this may be possible to achieve at a higher level of consciousness and with a considerable amount of will power, but we are talking about general everyday (is there such a thing) OBE's here. Any newbies would read your post and feel that what you are saying is quite possible first time OOB. I just don't believe this is so. And also, what if you are of the belief, that getting OOB is really an inward journey? You aren't really interacting with the 'physical' world then, so how the hell do you move physical objects in this respect? I'm not trying to have a dig at you here, I just wanted to stress my point of view, being, it appears so different to yours, but then, I don't say my point of view is fact, the way you seem to have stated yours. Btw, have you ever moved anything physical while you were OOB? Just curious. :-) All the best Craig Zyxman wrote: > You guys are stressin -- of course you can!!!! > lt all has to do with belief, faith and personal power.... > Didn't you see the movie 'Ghost' ;and what about psychokenetic abilities, > huh??? > No handprints in flour there, but definite movement...... -- The sure way to make a thing impossible- -is to think it so. --- Franklin To respond, delete _nospam_ scrappy@_nospam_netconnect.com.au -- ###### From: zyxman@aol.com (ZyxMAN) Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: Question about objects Lines: 11 NNTP-Posting-Host: ladder01.news.aol.com X-Admin: news@aol.com Date: 30 Sep 1998 03:28:38 GMT References: <360EEB33.E06901D5@the.end.of.the.message> Organization: AOL http://www.aol.com X-Newsreader: AOL Offline Reader Message-ID: <19980929232838.04330.00019307@ngol01.aol.com> Path: chonsp.franklin.ch!pfaff.ethz.ch!news-zh.switch.ch!news.belnet.be!news-raspail.gip.net!news-peer.gip.net!news.gsl.net!gip.net!portc01.blue.aol.com!audrey01.news.aol.com!not-for-mail Your "QUOTE" pretty well says it all..... Sorry if I sound like I didn't believe what you were saying. That was not my intention. I just wanted to stress that being able to move physical objects during an OBE would surly need the concentration and will power only an experienced OBEer could sustain. I just wanted to let this be known to any newbies reading this post, so they wouldn't get the idea that you can just go about moving physical objects 'willy-nilly' while they were OOB. :-) Anyway, you have me fascinated now. :-) Can you share some of your experiences with the group? I would love to learn how you move things this way. :-) Do you find you have psychokinesis abilities while you are in the physical, or only while you are OOB? Would you say being psychic in waking life makes a big difference when OOB, or do you think we can all learn to move physical objects while OOB?
