Has anyone done this >before...if so please share your experiences. >Love, Peace and Music... This makes me kind of chuckle :-) I've had a number of experiences with fairies while OBE. So far I've run across 3 different kinds. 1) The "Lone" fairy - small (relatively speaking - about 3" in length) and seemingly made of light (red light for me). Double wings. Each time I've seen one, they are busy playing by themselves, flitting about, and pay me no notice. For me - they are female in figure. I've never talked with one. 2) "Gate Keeper" fairies - about 6" tall. Full, flowing, triple wings. Lighter colors like white and light blue. Very human looking - except for the wings. Both male and female. Dance together like in a waltz. They sing a wonderful song of warning - or possibly introduction. They do not interact with me, but only warn/introduce me to what lies beyond them. I usually ignore them and go past them anyway. 3) "Playfull" fairies - very thin but can range from something like 5 to 8 inches. Thin, transparent, double wings like those of a dragonfly. All that I've seen are somewhat green in color. Tend to be female in form but voices can sound male (deep and robust). They usually (for me) hide and then surprise me from behind with a joke about what I'm thinking - usually in song - like making fun of what I'm thinking. They tend to travel in groups and quickly fly away laughing in tiny little voices once you realize they are the source of an odd/funny situation. I wouldn't call fairies a bother so much as I would just say that they don't offer much more than entertainment. They've never given me any real information. They only seem to want to play, dance, and sing. Delightfull as they are, they seem to be more of a distraction than anything else. I once ran across an entity that looked very much like Pan. I was not getting very good feelings from the encounter and pushed the being out of my visual experience. As I recall - the entity disappeared, but the uneasiness continued and I eventually left the area. Well... that's a basic run down of "nature spirits" I've experienced. There have been other times I met up with entities that I would call "nature spirits", but I'm really not in the mood to write all about them. Suggestion... If you want to meet up with them while OBE or LD, then I suggest you keep your mind clear and upbeat - without any specific goal in mind. Just walk around in a natural setting (park, forest, lake area, etc.) Maybe you could even start singing to yourself to attract them. :-) Bart ###### From: zyphrhart@aol.com (Zyphr Hart) Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: FaeryRealm Lines: 15 NNTP-Posting-Host: ladder02.news.aol.com X-Admin: news@aol.com Date: 24 Sep 1998 11:55:24 GMT Organization: AOL http://www.aol.com References: <16764-3609A6F6-1@newsd-111.bryant.webtv.net> Message-ID: <19980924075524.03765.00001044@ng118.aol.com> Path: chonsp.franklin.ch!pfaff.ethz.ch!news-zh.switch.ch!news-ge.switch.ch!news.maxwell.syr.edu!cpk-news-hub1.bbnplanet.com!news.bbnplanet.com!portc02.blue.aol.com!audrey03.news.aol.com!not-for-mail >Hello, me again. I made eye-contact with one of them for a few seconds, but it just turned away and started grazing again. I decided the best thing to do was to just leave them alone since they did look pretty muscular. This is not a "how-to" book, but for an interesting read on faery realms (as opposed to other non-physical states), have a look at R.J. Stewart's book called "Robert Kirk, Walker Between Worlds, published by Element Books, 1990, ISBN 1-85230-141-4. -- .Nisaba Merrieweather nisaba@tac.com.au
