I love the idea! Beth, you and I could set our alarm clocks to wake up close to the time Julia will be lying down to sleep ... or am I thinking opposite? Ok .. you could try for 10 or 11 p.m. ... I'll hold out until 12 or 1 ... and Julia could try for either 6 or 7 a.m. Sat. morning. (am I thinking correctly? Sorry .. just woke up.) We could repeat it the following day with Julia trying on Sunday morning. Make sense? I'm working all day .. so I'll check my mail this evening when I get home. This should be great! Trish Would have sent e-mail out to you both, but my mail server is down (again) this morning. ###### Message-ID: <35CB477E.6039B682@pop.slkc.uswest.net> Date: Fri, 07 Aug 1998 11:29:18 -0700 From: Beth Reply-To: oberoberts@uswest.net X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.04 [en] (Win95; U) MIME-Version: 1.0 Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: Beth and Julia ...... My four year old stays up late. I will be lucky to get him to sleep by 11pm my time. I am still a little confused about the time difference, but I think Trish has it correct. If I start working on this about 11pm tonight, it will be 1am Trish's time, then add about 5 or 6 more hours to that and it is Julia's time, I think. My biggest problem will be getting in the state soon enough. > Next question, where? Shall we go to the Parthenon? Ok, you two, you may just have to come to Utah and yank me out of my body. I hereby give my permission for the both of you to do so. I will remember to tell myself not to fight it, that it is just the two of you picking me up for our girls night out :) I would probably need to stick with the current date since I have not been having much luck with getting out lately. I will spend some time today learning all I can about the Parthenon and its location. I do hope that I am able to join the two of you. Well, I am so excited to finally get out of the house and do something fun like socializing, even if it is astrally! No need to set my alarm, then: I've got toddlers bouncing joyfully in their beds and shouting for Mummy any time between 5 and 7 am! But yes, you tell me when, and I'll be there. Don't forget that we have British Summer Time here at the moment. I don't understand it, either. Perhaps someone in the newsgroup does? Next question, where? Shall we go to the Parthenon? And another question - When at the Parthenon? Just at the prearranged time? Or are we doing another mass meet just before dawn as we did at the Sphinx? And to complicate matters, which date of Parthenon? Several of us got waylaid by the Sphinx without weathering and with the head of a lioness, and the same thing happened to me last night. I went there, and waltzed through millennia. I visited during the 600 ADs when the Parthenon was turned into a mosque with a minaret built on it; and during 1687 AD when it was used as an arsenal and accidentally exploded by the besieging Venetians. I went during a very early era, about 6000 BC when it was a rocky outcrop with a tatty village on it and a few shrines; and during the building of it (447 - 438 BC) with the splendid building and sculpture painted in lurid colours, and the interior containing a stunning 12 metre high statue of Athena by Pheidias wrought from gold and ivory (I left a gift in front of her feet - can you find it?). I saw one of the annual Panathenaic Festivals when a procession led by a boat with its sail made from a new embroidered robe for the statue wound its way with singing and dancing up to the Parthenon. I also glimpsed the events of 'Lysistrata' by Aristophanes, the comedy in which the women of Athens retreat to the Acropolis and refuse to 'accomodate' their menfolk until they stop warring - good fun for a girls' night out! In my contemporary visit, there was a foul smog from the nearby forest fires and from the pollution of too many vehicles. I rolled up a thick nasty layer of atmospheric filth overlying Athens (like a damp filter paper) and posted the nasty 'cigarette' into the rising sun, whilst I was there. I shouted Jean's name several times, but there were only ghosts about. (am I thinking >correctly? Sorry .. just woke up.) We could repeat it the following day >with Julia trying on Sunday morning. >Make sense? Sounds fine by me. I placed my bismuth crystal on the third eye, an amazing bladeless axhead of azimuth/malachite on dolomite on my solar plexus, and my new selenite wand on the heart area, after using it to attune all the chakras. I went up the rainbow, saying 'Beth in Utah' - and found her lying in a trance, with no difficulty. Trish was already there, laughing. We pulled Beths astral hands and lifted her up and out. I have to confess that she was like a rag doll filled with wet sand, although she came to life once we reached the Parthenon. Jean was already at the Parthenon, to welcome us, and pleased to see us. We all danced for a while, whirling up into the sky, holding hands. Great fun! A few odd things happened; there were odd 'rushes' of slipping back in time, as in my previous post. I checked that my gift was still lying on the floor at Pallas Athena's feet. These included the moment when the Parthenon exploded, with huge chunks of carved marble flying through the air - at that point, I thought 'oh, no, all my crystals have fallen off my earthly body' but to my surprise I stayed out there, despite thinking of my body. Probably the influence of the Girls all keeping me out there. Eventually we all began to drift back, like wisps of smoke in a breeze, and it was a much slower journey than when we came, and I was able to look at Europe below me as though from an airoplane. I arrived home at 6.55 am. Good trip out, thanks Girls! Julia. ###### Message-ID: <35CC78A3.A4F7F27E@pop.slkc.uswest.net> Date: Sat, 08 Aug 1998 09:11:15 -0700 From: Beth Reply-To: oberoberts@uswest.net X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.04 [en] (Win95; U) MIME-Version: 1.0 Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: Beth and Julia ...... Everything fits, time wise. This is what I did. I listened to 7mhz brain waves for about 20 minutes while massaging my own feet. Mostly to relax myself. I then put ear plugs in my ears and laid down to sleep. I used the mediation the Julia sent me about the tree. Focusing on the third eye. However, I am fore of a kinesthetic (feeling) person, so it was not that visual until the white light completely engulfed me. Then I made my eretheral body curl up into a small ball so I could easily leave my body. The first thing I noticed when I was completely in a trance was Julia's wand and Trish laughing. I made notes of both of these things because they both were so pronounced. The laughing gave me thoughts about how mischievous the three of us were being by having our girls night out. the wand was very distinct in that I knew it was Julia' wand the minute I saw it. The next things that happened was the sensation of the two of them trying to pull me out. It was like I was stuck a bit. I kept communicating to them to keep trying and not to give up. Eventually, we were headed east. Most of this was a blur, but I did see the partheon for a short time. I don't remember dancing around or jean. But the timing is right for all of the events. So Trish, what were you laughing about anyway? I promise event though the details are not exact, they are close. My bedroom would probably be considered long, well actually the condo is long not very wide come to think of it. The walls are an ivory or off white color, I have a very large bay window in my room which measures 7 ft. and they have ivory blinds, they weren't drawn but the slates were turned upward. Yes, I do have lots and lots of long brown hair, I would say medium brown with a tint of red. I look to be about 7-10 years younger than I am, I am just barely 40, but when I am lying down I would say I look about that age, you know with out being all dressed up. So tell me what color of nighty I was wearing, this would be good since it was the one thing I thought the two of you would remember, not that it is anything special but just something else to remember. Pretty Cool I say. Oh I forgot to mention about the plants. I have many, many plants in front by my windows. For some reason all the plants growing in front of my condo are about twice the size of everyone else's around me. I also have many plants growing in the house, but what you probably saw was all of my silk and dried flower arrangements that I did. It's just more of my creativity coming out. Anything else? As far as the selenite wand, I wish I would have got up out of bed and wrote down some things about it. The whole scene happened so fast, but what I do remember is the perception that was so strong that "there's Julia's wand." It was quite bright at the end, but I don't remember details about the wand, it was more the perception of it being there. I truly wish I could give you a description other than my knowing it was your wand and the brightness of it. OK, so from now on, when we pair up for an experiment I will post it where I am suppose to. Please let me know where that is and I will bookmark it.
