The last part of the OBE I recall distinctly. I rose out of my room, out my window, and went flying. Went way up into the dark sky, and out in the distance to my right I saw some colorful objects floating in the sky. I could barely see them, and I was afraid the OBE was over .. so I demanded "Clarity Now!" like in the Buhlman book. Believe it or not, it worked (first time I ever tried it). It was other people that I saw flying around in the sky and down below and further to their right there was a party going on. It looked like a carnival. So I flew over to investigate. But flying for some reason, was now becoming a little more difficult. I tried the Buhlman technique of demanding it .. and telling myself to fly in the right direction ... but it wasn't working too well. So when I got close enough to land, I decided to walk. There was a pool of water which I think was in the middle of the festivities ... but once I landed, there were so many people there it was hard to move around. I didn't feel strange here, like I felt at the other place I had visited this evening. Lots of brightness and light in the dark evening, and it was noisy. But I could barely move with all the people, so I decided to fly. I picked up and object ... which looked almost like a make-shift magic wand, and flew out over the water. Got a little scared there, because the water was dark, and I wasn't sure what was in it. Didn't want to drop in it, especially considering my flying ability was starting to wan. But all in all, I was having a good time. A tall gentleman with light brown hair and a very courtly manner exchanged pleasantries with me, though I didn't catch his name. And then I was off, flying over the water again, just playing around in the midst of all the festivities. As I was coming in once again to land, a fellow that looked remarkably a lot like Dick Silk, took notice of me. (The resemblance is noted in hindsight, as I write this) He came charging out after me. I had no idea who he was (at least at the time) so I started running off in the other direction. He caught a piece of my "clothing"? which alarmed me, and I tried to fly away. I broke free of him, but still couldn't fly. He never said my name, so I don't think he knew who I was. I have no idea what he wanted, but I think he may have taken offense to me flying out over the water. He chased me through the crowd for a few minutes, and I began to panic because I knew he wasn't going to give up the chase ... and I wasn't able to get off the ground. The edge of the water was closing in quick, and with no where left to run, I was out of luck. So as I jumped out into the water (now this part is cool) ... instead of landing in water, I came crashing through the screen in my bedroom window into my room. From there I shook my head back and forth quickly .... for me it's a signal to myself that it's time to wake up. And I did. Sat down at my computer, and wrote this down. If I didn't make it to your party Silk, I made it to someones! -------------------- It was a heck of a night for OBEs. Saw lots of interesting people earlier into the OBE as well. I had this dream the night before your experience, so someone is out there having fun with us women on the NG. I vaguely remember the moon, but I don't remember the context of it. The one dream I do remember was this morning, one of those dreams where I park my car at school and when I return to the parking lot I can't find it and I spend the majority of the dream looking for my lost car. This time a guy that I don't know says he is going to help me find my car, but he really doesn't, instead he attacks me. As I am trying to get away, there are people around seeing me screaming and fighting him and they just stand there and don't help me. The whole dream was frustrating. I'm pretty sure now that the guy I met up with was probably Silk. I didn't get a feeling of danger as he ran after me ... it was more like his personality was overwhelming me at the time, and I've learned to be cautious of people I encounter while OBE. During one past OBE I had, as I rolled out of my body I saw that a man was in bed with me. He then proceeded to try strangling me to death. It was more tedious and frustrating than it was scary though. I've been "killed" at least once, shot at, attacked many times. When something like this happens, I usually just roll into a different environment. In one dream I had earlier this year, I took a gun to my own head and blew myself away. It sounds strange, but doing this was part of a healing process that I needed to help me with certain stress I was going through at the time. I haven't had anything too violent lately though, but I'll be on the watch. A good way to handle it (if you can) is just to confront the assailant and ask him why he's attacking you. I usually find that the attacker becomes confused, and unable to answer the question .. and the violence stops immediately. This is harder to do when it's a dream. The S.H. incident troubled you greatly though. I can understand that. The thought of it may be preying in the back of your mind, making it difficult for you to mentally relax enough to OBE. Personally, I don't protect myself with white light, like others have. And I don't look for spirit guides. But it does help others we've spoken to. Also realize that you have friends here, and any one of us will come to your assistance should you need us. Either way, we should all be on the lookout for any strange "goings on". It helps to have a horn button attached to your keychain so that you can have your car horn HONK before you go out searching for it. That way, you don't appear to be lost, and are less of a candidate for predators. That bit about people just watching without helping is also a common side effect to violence. There was that woman in New York City who was stabbed umpteen times, during like 3 separate sequences, and NO one called for help, even tho COUNTLESS people watched from their apartment windows during the episode! Small towns tend to have more of the "hero" types in them, while in large cities, people don't care to "get involved." I saw a demo where a person tried to reproduce the same "effect" by faking a heart attack in a public area. People just walked right on by, not even stopping to check it out. It was amazing to watch! Don't let yourself become a victim. Always KNOW what you want, and where you are going, and what you are doing. That psychic attacker might JUST be your own *stronger* self coming back to test you, to see if you're "awake" or not...
