I posted a couple of messages a few days ago and I was wondering what everyone thought about them. One was called "OBE from a few days ago," and the other was called "Types of Projection, Based on Planes." I also have been frequently posting a short listing of Web Sites to this group called "Top OBE/Astral Projection Picks." What does everyone think about this? Has it been helpful or do you think it is just spam? I just want to make sure everyone is 'OK' with this particular regular post. Thanks. They looked interesting, especially the information about the planes. > I also have been frequently posting a short listing of Web Sites to > this group called "Top OBE/Astral Projection Picks." If you keep it to once a week, I have no problems with it at all. More often than that would probably be too much. I've saved that one too for later reference, but haven't had the time to look at that either. I did see some things I've been trying to find, so it's already been helpful. Thanks. BTW, the strict definition of spam is 'the same, many times', and since your post hasn't been excessively multi- or cross- posted, it can't be spam (not yet, at least). The definition is not based on content. > Matt Holmes > Mind Travel Plus > http://www.execpc.com/~mholmes/index.html -R. ###### Path: ccw.ch!elna.ethz.ch!news-zh.switch.ch!news-ge.switch.ch!newsfeed.uk.ibm.net!sackheads.org!ibm.net!news-feed.inet.tele.dk!bofh.vszbr.cz!newshub.northeast.verio.net!ptdnetP!newsgate.ptd.net!news-xfer.siscom.net!news.siscom.net!not-for-mail Message-ID: <353C06EF.5A4E5294@siscom.net> From: nil X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.04 [en] (Win16; I) MIME-Version: 1.0 Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: Feedback Requested References: <6henn9$6hh@newsops.execpc.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Lines: 12 Date: Mon, 20 Apr 1998 23:39:59 GMT NNTP-Posting-Host: ppp38.midd-oh.siscom.net NNTP-Posting-Date: Mon, 20 Apr 1998 19:39:59 EST Matt Holmes wrote: > > I also have been frequently posting a short listing of Web Sites to > this group called "Top OBE/Astral Projection Picks." With as many requests as the ng gets from people looking for info, I think your reposting of your link list one a week or so is quite appropriate. I've certainly found it useful! nil ###### Path: ccw.ch!usenet From: Neil Franklin Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: Feedback Requested Date: Mon, 20 Apr 1998 23:58:33 +0200 Organization: My own Private Self Lines: 22 Message-ID: <353BC509.7D0D9932@ccw.ch> References: <6henn9$6hh@newsops.execpc.com> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.04 [en] (X11; I; Linux 2.0.27 i486) Matt Holmes wrote: > > I also have been frequently posting a short listing of Web Sites to > this group called "Top OBE/Astral Projection Picks." I think that regular repost of on-topic stuff is acceptable so long it is not too often. Once a week I think is too much (the Lucidity FAQ does that shedule). Once a month is too long (the rec.org.sca contacts list does that). So I would suggest once every 2 weeks as ideal. -- Neil.Franklin.remove@ccw.ch http://www.ccw.ch/Neil.Franklin/ franklin.remove@arch.ethz.ch http://caad.arch.ethz.ch/~franklin/ This computer has 2 cats, one in /bin, one on top purring.
