Also what about what the do for people having operations. A full muscle relaxant and anesthetic would leave you completely numb cept for your mind. Except of course meditation and energy raising exercises. From what I have heard, all that one needs is already within. Afterall, none of us needed any help learning to dream. And, if you agree with most of the literature, when one dreams, they are on the astral plane. Although, I must admit, I am kinda interested in Monroes' Hemi-Sync. However, I will be the first to say that drugs are not the way. Richard Feynman (nobel prize for theoretical physics) used a flotation tank for his first OOBE experiments. I too wish I could achieve an OBE with meditation and hope to someday do, and was just wondering whether anyone has tried these. ###### Path: ccw.ch!elna.ethz.ch!news-zh.switch.ch!news-ge.switch.ch!news.maxwell.syr.edu!newsfeed.internetmci.com!203.12.176.153!news.mel.aone.net.au!newsfeed-in.aone.net.au!news.mel.connect.com.au!news2.melbpc.org.au!not-for-mail From: johnf@melbpc.org.au (John Fitzsimons) Newsgroups: alt.out-of-body Subject: Re: Artificial OBE/Astral projection Date: Tue, 14 Apr 1998 21:24:42 GMT Organization: Melbourne PC User Group Inc, Australia Lines: 21 Message-ID: <3542e8ed.20538010@news.melbpc.org.au> References: <01bd66f6$9d6d0ec0$f8947dc2@default> <1998041319054700.PAA20872@ladder03.news.aol.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: b2-47.melbpc.org.au Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Newsreader: Forte Agent 1.5/32.451 On 13 Apr 1998 19:05:47 GMT, zyphrhart@aol.com (Zyphr Hart) wrote: >I would like to think that there would be no need for any kind of help to >achieve OOBE. < snip > I think a lot of people need a bit of help when just starting to do something new.
