He was young and impressionable which made him a perfect target for whatever it was, (I have no idea, even now, I just had to do what I could at the time). He described to me what was happening to him and I suggested that he should create an image of himself in his mind of the "good" opponent against his attacker and to fight it as though it were real in the the terms that he was being attacked under. I understand that it was some kind of monster, so suggested that he imagined an appropriate hero. He chose a St George character and I directed him in a fight with the monster and eventually got him to kill the monster. It all took about 15 to 20 minutes. He was very scared but did just as I said and did a bloody good job. He was a bit nervous afterwards but very proud of himself. I know that it was a psychic attack because we were all witnessing a seance. One of those daft things that some young people do despite or because of "The Exorcist" etc. I saw a film many years later called "Dreamscape" which reminded of that episode and I have kept on video almost as a training film, because I believe that it does work just like that. I'm not enirely sure what it was but it was seems to have gone away now so I guess it doesn't really matter now.
