Interesting stories that start coming out when you start telling folks you've been doing Reiki... ;-) I've heard from two seperate sources of kind of non physical spontaneous energy orgasms. By that I meant the closest thing you could compare it to was an orgasm but for both male and female there were no physical symptons of arousal or ejaculation. One friend said she was with her boyfriend on holiday and one afternoon theyt were lying on the bed when he put his hand on her tummy. She could feel the energy getting stronger and stronger, she moved out of her body and had an orgasm. In the other case a guy and someone he was really fond of bumped into each other at a party. They hugged and the energy started really rushing down on them. They hugged a bit more and squeezed closer and bang! Orgasm for both of these two and the whole room apparently spun round 180 degress, after which they were both left gasping and speechless. A third odd occurrence for the same two above... Also at a party they bumped in to each other, the energy started raining down on them and this time rather than an orgasm the guy felt a warm band of energy coming from his friend's middle towards him, then moving around him to embrace him. He reckoned it was one of the most holy and beautiful experiences of his life. This last guy was also saying that with this particular friend that they had this beautifulo ability to kind of "zone out" into a space where the energy just came down and started flowing through and around them. They called it a "bliss bubble" Any ideas what's going on there? the two party experiences involved psychedelic substances (mushrooms) but the other two above were both completely sober. As spirit, our objective is to return to 'being one' - to experience that sensation with just one other human being is a powerful event. I believe orgasms (of the type you've described) come about when two spirits 'entwine' - when they 'become one'. IMHO, it's perfectly possible to experience an orgasm without having to unite physically. Obviously, the physical sensation would be different, but the mental and spiritual effects are the same. It is our association of an orgasm with sex that prevents events such as those you describe from happening more often. In some instances, I find that the bond between a couple is stronger than in others. There is a much greater sense of 'oneness'. There's no doubt in my mind that this is through past life experiences together. I've noted a few cases over the years where I hug a female and there is a definite Kundalini type of energy thing going on. However, I didn't hug them long enough to take it to it's conclusion. It has usually been with women that I'm attracted to as I recall. I don't know if they felt it, but I would suspect that they did. I would also not be surprised if there is a strong pastlife component to this. It could be a recognition of a connection to the person on an energetic level (i.e. lovers in a pastlife?). The last time was probably the most unnerving - Even though myself and the other person were in full time, committed and loving relationships we were both intensely attracted to each other, despite not even speaking to begin with. When we did get round to actually discussing what was going on (she said she felt it too) the conversation concluded with us both deciding that we were going to have to go straight home with our respective partners and take very cold showers! I believe it is a recognition of two souls that are either twin-souls or have been soulmates with very positive experiences (lovers?) in previous lives. It was usually what we call "love at first sight". We looked at each other's eyes and got "electrified" with streams of energy running up and down our bodies, and an intense feeling of exaggeration. The entire body would vibrate, all the nerves would be charged and one would feel like being on "cloud nine" if not higher. I also experienced such events astrally when I met a twinsoul, or even during Yahoo chats with a twinsoul. Interresting you should bring this up now, I was just about to ask this too, since I have had a similar experence. But this one was triggered by music... Twenty years ago when I studied music I visited a concert where one of the students had composed this very special meditative piece for eight flutes. The flutes were placed surounding the audience, and one by one the flutes started playing long long soft tones, all the same note, maybe A...and they just kept doing that for a long time, say eight minutes. This evening I was very calm and receptive and I sort of floated away on those long tones... Suddenly all the flutes changed note from A to B flat [to a slighty higher note] and my body exploded, like an orgasm from my hara/stomach/second/third chakra. And I swear that for a while I was sitting half a meter above my chair. Have never had that experience in a relationship, only that a friend could see silvery energy floating between me and my boyfriend from our stomachs... Unfortuantely, none of this "love at first sights" became a physical relationship / marriage. The first one I met in dancing school at age 18, he was 17 and totally immature. We dated for half a year once a week and then broke up because of problems with his parents (they had a different religion and did not want us to eventually get married). The second was a co-worker at the university, he turned out to be an alcoholic and totally incompatible, also he liked boys. I never allowed him to even call me by my first name. The third one was the brother of a co-worker of my ex-husband, and since I was married I kept my distance from him. The fourth one was married while I was divorced, same as the fifth and sixth one. The seventh one is single but homosexual and only interested in friendship. Number four, six and seven I never met in person. Number five came for a visit with his wife. I showed both of them Vienna and attuned both my twinsoul and her, that is all. This dissapointments have always been heartbreaking for me, but who knows what purpose they had in my life. Tantra has many approaches to this. Some schools use celibacy. Others indulge in sex without ejaculation. The methods are many and varied but the goal is the same. For me this happened when I was able to separate orgasm from body spasms. Once I was able to see that the orgasm was actually energetic instead of physical, things really jelled for me.
