Usually I'll feel something like a tingling sensation, at a minimum around my head and hands, sometimes over the whole upper body. Usually, but not always a sensation of heat coming from the hands. Less frequently a sensation of coolness. I have to wonder if these various sensations are just a nervous system trying to convey a type of stimulous that it's not really equipped to handle, hence the confused feelings? And while I usually feel the energy quite strongly now, in the weeks after my very first attunement, I didn't feel anything different. When I asked my teacher about it, she asked me to put my hands on her and she said, "Oh, yes; it's just pouring out of you!" which helped boost my confidence a little, but didn't help me to feel anything. But over time and further attunements and practice, gradually I came to recognize the "energy buzz" when I'm doing Reiki. True I do as often as I can Hatsurei-ho before going to sleep evening even if in a short routine of 10-15 slow breathing x each position and afterwords when over I mass the warmth ( of my hands ) around my body with a light body massage and when in bed I pass my hands over my *supposed to be * aura sort of ironing-dewrinklig it from head to toes 3 times and 2 x backward from toes to head than I sleep , sometimes I push it like I was pushing a ballon to get more awareness of it something as Steven explained to do in his site In this case I feel the field as in for of warmt buzz or just as a soft preassure feeling Well since 2 years I have been in Reiki and without practicing as Steve does professionally but just only in helping people as some close friends or family and here in AHR and myself :-), I should say that my health that always has been good is still very good :-) and I have very seldom my age bobo's Good- thanks for explainig I hope others will share their experiences and that it might help to fight this *inner insecurity and blockages* some of us feel ,no need to see beam of light to get out of our palms or eyes to be sure that Reiki is something effective .. but it takes time to enhance our sensibility to feel it and haste is not an help love and light Theo
