The healer are folks curing people and animals working the land and collecting herbs In the Swiss part is more free as government let people use herbs that are potentially dangerous in trad medicine that is strictly forbidden in the french side of the same region.. The *secret* is the gift to help people and as is coming from God no money is asked in counterpart of the help given the healee can ask by phone to the healer to be helped and they show different ways each healer applied his techniques to channel the energy there are self hand position that simulate the distant helee zone to be cured , some people feels warm when receiving one woman ( healer) said she always had warm hands ) and refreshed them on trees in the forest . Often the healing is distance chanelled by some instant of concentration and some prayer.. when the 2 persons are face to faceit is the same some prayers and some hand manipulations A guy said he was using energy from nature so he took and channeled it to the recipient and at the same took from the recipient some bad energy and gave it back to nature as counterpart ( sort of grounding )( law of balance) one guy ( it was the second time I hard this story happened to 2 different people) has been attuned to it by a cousin that was a healer and was quite old.. they were working in the fields when the older told the younger that wanted to pass over to him the power of *the secret* and the younger asked why me ? .. other people in the family might have do .. the older said *because you have the qualities to receive and use it the best way.. These people never talk each others ( amoung healers)of the way they cure ,each has its own ways..or specialties of course some doctors interviewed talked of placebo effect , supersticion and all the usual things .. But the main point was that the healee must be consenting and believe that he will be helped this way.. Most of the healers were really folks style gothic america or corn belt folks Amish style nothing of the Guru Many gestures were the Reiki ones ;after all we use hands and the body has the same shape all over the world :-) another intersting thing most of the wild flower wild herbs that push in early spring are excellent for lungs as if after winter the body needs to breath .. I'm not exactly in a remote place, but I was in the park this afternoon and there is a big old tree that's been around a lot longer than most of the other trees in the area. It looks like they left it on purpose when they cleared the trees out of the picnic area above the basketball court. I was practicing taiji this afternoon, and afterwards, I was thinking about this thread, so I went over to the tree, laid hands on it and opened up for about 5 minutes. It was an interesting experience, almost dizzying. Sorry, I don't know my trees, so don't know what kind it is.
