Funny, I just got off the phone with Jay Sage, and he made the same suggestion (or perhaps not so funny, this is now a small world.) So yes, my next step is waiting for Jay to email me the standard v1.6 BDS C distribution (since I no longer have it in a form I can read) along with the ZCPR3 version we both worked on. I'll first just post all of that on my site, and then touch base with Gaby for getting it all onto that site as well. Also Peter Schorn contacted me after my post, and I'll be getting stuff to him to post on his emulator site. Oh, for the record: "I, Leor Zolman, hereby and forever more release all rights to BDS C to anyone and everyone who'd like to make copies, download, use, sell, whatever, both the original retail packages and all source code, including to the compiler itself, wherever they may be able to get a copy". There, probably not ideal legalese, but I hope people get the general idea. The source code to the original CP/M-80 compiler and linker will be available for free download on my web site in about ten minutes. Go to www.bdsoft.com, click on "Resources" in the nav bar, and then look for the "BDS C" section. -leor
