One of my cow-orkers at a previous employer had C9C2D4. It was definitely one of those YKYBHTLW things when I noticed the plate and was able to decipher it immediately (I'd been reading a bunch of dumps lately). --Rich ###### Newsgroups: alt.folklore.computers Subject: Re: Computer License plates (was Re: VM (not VMS or Virtual Machine, the IBM sort) References: <38fa418b@news.iprimus.com.au> <38faa1d8.17519935@news> <8dhl4j$fvn$1@top.mitre.org> <38fc8eb2$1$wg$mr2ice@news.epix.net> From: merlyn@stonehenge.com (Randal L. For many years, I had "BINARY" on my Oregon plates, citing that I was the only person in Oregon with a "binary license" for my car. Then I upgraded to "SOURCE". :) You can see various pictures of the former "SOURCE-mobile" in my ski-trip pictures at . I say former because someone broadsided me last November totalling it, and the replacement car is not yet pictured (has not been to the mountain yet :), but I *did* retain the "SOURCE license". My brother now has the "BINARY" license on his car. Cute. :) -- Randal L.
