I have a 1964 manual for PDP-6 TECO that I want to contribute. If you're interested, you can read it at http://pobox.com/~enf/lore/teco/teco-64.html If you notice any typos, please let me know so I can fix them. eric ###### From: Tim Shoppa Newsgroups: alt.folklore.computers Subject: Re: TECO archives Date: Thu, 06 May 1999 22:49:12 -0400 Organization: Trailing Edge Technology Lines: 27 Message-ID: <37321C68.33433618@trailing-edge.com> References: NNTP-Posting-Host: trailing-edge.wdn.com Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Mailer: Mozilla 3.03Gold (X11; I; OpenVMS V7.0 DEC 3000 Model 300L) CC: eric@fudge.uchicago.edu Path: chonsp.franklin.ch!pfaff.ethz.ch!news-zh.switch.ch!news-ge.switch.ch!isdnet!netnews.com!news-xfer.newsread.com!netaxs.com!newsread.com!netaxs.newsread.com!usenet Eric Fischer wrote: > > Does anyone know where the TECO archives that used to be on ftp.usc.edu > migrated to, or who is maintaining them? Those archives are a set compiled in 1988 or so by Pete Siemsen, consisting of all the TECO-related stuff he could find in the DECUS archives and some other stuff that he found useful. I have an original 9-track here written by Pete Siemsen himself. I've made a web-accessible version of Pete's archive available through http://metalab.unc.edu/pub/academic/computer-science/history/pdp-11/teco/ > I have a 1964 manual for PDP-6 > TECO that I want to contribute. > If you're interested, you can read it at > http://pobox.com/~enf/lore/teco/teco-64.html I'll go ahead and add this document to the rest of the links on the TECO page at metalab.
