As a result of that posting you won't believe what happened... Erol's, my ISP, cut off my entire company from all of the internet. I found this to be excessive and was especially angered when the people at Erols lied to me. They told me that they tried to contact the company several times and left voice messages, but oddly now one ever received them. When I asked why they hadn't emailed me they said because they left voice messages. When I asked why they just didn't cut me off they said they didn't have that ability. When I asked why the measures were so extreme for a first time, one message offense, they said policy. When I told them if my company was GM they wouldn't have done what they did, they said they sure would. When I asked if they considered it abusive when they posted for jobs all over the place they, of course, said no. According to the people I spoke with at Erols they have one policy that covers individuals and companies. Hmmmmmm! Erols will lose my companies business over this. -- Dewayne Basnett - dewayne@nvi.to - www.nvi.to phone: 610.415.0170 - pager: 888.233.7395 pin 1911091 "Golf has probably kept more people sane than psychiatrists have." By any chance, do you work for the Erol's advertising department? This is the sort of thing that would encourage people to get an account with them. Anyway, to haul this back on topic for alt.folklore.computers, does anyone know where I can find a copy of the original Green Card Lawyers spam? What was the exact date?
