The monitor should be capable of sync on green but it shouldn't be too much trouble to extract the sync. As for the DEC monitors, well, look on DejaNews and do a web search. People are selling them fairly cheaply. However, they're so heavy that shipping won't be cheap. Oh yeah, you may want to post to comp.sys.dec instead of here. -- | Boris Gjenero | | Home page: http://www.undergrad.math.uwaterloo.ca/~bgjenero/ | | "Luke, you're going to find that many of the truths we cling to | | depend greatly on our own point of view." - Obi-Wan Kenobi, ROTJ | ###### Path: ccw.ch!elna.ethz.ch!news-zh.switch.ch!ubnnews.unisource.ch!News.Amsterdam.UnisourceCS!newshunter.cosy.sbg.ac.at!newspump.monmouth.com!newspeer.monmouth.com!news.maxwell.syr.edu!nntp.news.xara.net!xara.net!Aladdin!aladdin.net!ns2.aladdin.net!vodka.tnx.djmarkets.co.uk!not-for-mail From: cbh@REMOVE_THIS.teabag.demon.co.uk (Chris Hedley) Newsgroups: alt.folklore.computers Subject: Re: Help: VAXstation 3100 Date: 5 May 1998 09:36:57 GMT Organization: teabag Lines: 10 Message-ID: <6immjp$3co$4@vodka.tnx.djmarkets.co.uk> References: <6i0m9u$c2a$1@iapetus.comco.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: localhost Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii X-Newsreader: knews 0.9.8 In article <6i0m9u$c2a$1@iapetus.comco.com>, Bill Bradford writes: > I've got four of these beasties (two with color graphics SPX option, two > with the standard black and white) in my living room; I'm in desperate need > of a VR290 color monitor or two, VR262 mono monitors, and some of the DEC ISTR you'll need a VRT19 if it's an SPX board; the 290 monitor is a lower resolution screen that only works with a GPX card.
