And if so, it was by accident. Does the idea of God being a composite left brain bother you? Or Jesus being his human center bother you? Or of the Devil being a right brain bother you? Or the left brain being more verbal, using the minds of Jews to write the Bible[their higher than average verbal intelligence and lower than average spatial intelligence] bother you? And yes, I'm Roman Catholic. Or the idea of the white light being the MIND of the Holy Ghost bother you? My ideas were never attacked here until I mentioned Jesus and some new ideas about the Trinity. Why? What bothered some? Was it Jesus? Was he so bad in the minds of some? I know some of my best friends believe that the belief in Jesus lead to Hitler, but I don't. I think a right brain, liking misery and pain, hating more verbal oriented people, Satan lead to Hitler. And its all a test for Mankind's soul by that white light we all see with NDEs. How could you not think that the truth of the Bible wouldn't fit in with the truth of NDEs? Really!? I'll post my essay with a URL soon. Or my friends will. Then you can't complain. You never know, some might like reading it. It funny, in public here I get complaints. But in private, I get nothing but requests to send it in private. And so many are the same people posting here. But most are just the ones who come here to read and never seem to post. In article <34CE17DE.A06@ix.netcom.com>, flauzeck@ix.netcom.com wrote: > Does the idea of God being a composite left brain bother you? That particular idea does bother me. It just doesn't seem to be an 'intuitive-knowing'. Its strange, because I always considered myself a 'right-brain' being. I think less... but intuit/feel more. That can be good or bad depending on the circumstances. But the splitting of God into God/ Satan (left/right) seems unavaoidedly dooming. > Or Jesus > being his human center bother you? Thats fine. I'm not much of a christian (far from it), but that sentence holds power. And learning is best with things that are clear and unclouded. > Or of the Devil being a right brain > bother you? Since I don't experience the Devil as that which has been written and beleived in, then the Devil's existence itself must be conjured/created to be experienced. Man is great at creating/conjuring- up the Devil by the very act of concealment of God. > Or the left brain being more verbal, using the minds of Jews > to write the Bible[their higher than average verbal intelligence and > lower than average spatial intelligence] bother you? Maybe the Jewish race has a higher aptitude for the verbal language. Their history indicates the use of the very interconnectivity of the Kabbalah and Koran. Very intellectual. Very engrained in the fine art of verbal expression, yes thats true. Don't think its just THAT though. But, I do 'intuitively know/understand' that ALL peoples of the world are writing their scrypts every second of the day (their own bibles if you will - wordless bibles - the one that you take with you when you die). Peoples, animals, plants and plasma. Even plasma knows when to shrivel up due to abuse... and expand and flow in the presence of love. > Or the idea of the white light being the MIND of the Holy > Ghost bother you? Now thats well-said! > Was it Jesus? Was he > so bad in the minds of some? I'm afraid Jesus isn't the problem. Nor is it those that have met/seen/lived with/ or listened to him. God (fill in what you know yourself to be here)... seems to get lost in the experience of the 2000 year old Jesus. Yes... Jesus can be here right NOW, in spirit, but then it becomes just Jesus, and not God. That, for me anyways, is a big problem with christianity. That the duality is created unessesarrily. And the duality can only be un-done by merging with the proper symbols of understanding. > And its all a test for Mankind's > soul by that white light we all see with NDEs. The white-light can be experienced without an NDE as well. But yes... the clear-intelligent- white-light seems to be the common theme with regards to NDE's. I havn't had an NDE, but the language that spirals-out of that, is spiritual language. Serotonin disorders of the third-eye; msytical revelations; experiences of the otherside. > Robert L. ok, I don't know why I replied. Just interesting ?'s thats all. But here a few thoughts about why people (and so also those two) my be misunderstanding you and then being annoyed about what they percieve you to be writing. Robert Lauzeckas > Does the idea of God being a composite left brain bother you? I think it may be the word God that they are abjecting to. You surely know the old addage that "if you ask 100 people what God is, you will get 100 different answers". That comes from the word God having no commonly agreed on meaning, so everyone uses it for something different. Many may be (without noticing the danger) inserting their definition into your sentances and then regarding the resuls as complete rubbish and then regarding you as stupid and attacking you. You may be able to avoid this problem by giving a definition of how you are defining the word, so that people understand what you want them to understand, and not what theier definitions accidently produce. Words are dangerous (because deceptive) things, beware of the traps they produce for the unwary to fall in. This applies both to the writer (who may be missunderstood, so should define) and to the reader (who may be missunderstanding, so should ask for clarification). > Or Jesus being his human center bother you? The word Jesus is an other multiple meaning word. Same danger. > Or of the Devil And other multiple meaning word. > being a right brain Equating the god/devil dictonomy with the left/right brain will sound ridicoulous to quite a few definitions of these words. Note that even the logic/feelings = left/right formula is not believed by all. > Or the idea of the white light being the MIND of the Holy Ghost bother you? The Holy Ghost is yet annother multiple meaning word. In fact I don't even have a definition for it. So I simply use this sentance as a definition of your usage, reading mind into anywhere you write HG. Others who do have a meaning for it may disagree with you. > My ideas were never attacked here until I mentioned Jesus and some new ideas about the Trinity. Why? What bothered some? Was it Jesus? Perhaps because you did not up to then uses any words for which your readers have significantl deviating meanings. > Was he so bad in the minds of some? Some of the definitions of the word Jesus do stand for bad things. Also independanty of that: the word Jesus usually suggests that the user is a christian (which is the case with you) and that is yet annother multiple meaning word, some of them very bad. > I know some of my best friends believe that the belief in Jesus lead to Hitler, but I don't. That one is surprising for me! No Jesus definiton I know would fit that one. But thinking about it: some of the definitions for the word christian would fit the bill. > I think a right brain, liking misery and pain, hating more verbal oriented people, Satan lead to Hitler. From this I must even conclude that the term "right brain" is multiple meaning. With my definition that sentance simply makes no sense. Others who are not aware of the possibility of you having a different interpretation could easy see that sentance and declare you insane and use that as a reason to attack you. > How could you not think that the truth of the Bible wouldn't fit in with the truth of NDEs? Really!? Many people do not regard the Bible as truth. Here we actually see even an other problem with words: While the word Bible clearly (and unvariably) is defined as one particular books text, many (actually most) people only know small excerpts of this book or even worse only the public image of it, which containts thing not even in the Bible. This image is actually very bad in quite a few parts of society (a group called the New Church simply states that the Bible is the most dangerous book in existance). > I'll post my essay with a URL soon. Or my friends will. Then you can't complain. You never know, some might like reading it. Great. I am looking forward to being able to read it. >It funny, in public here I get complaints.
