The GNU Image Manipulation Program. You can get it from or, for the windows-users, from . The thing is called Save as COLORHTML. But I think it takes a few years. LOL Why? Algorithm is very simple - in that sample used some log file text and every letter has color of pixel which it represents - resample any image to the size you need - and write a program to read color information from bitmap file and build the color table. Then format ANY text as a box with X letters in string and Y strings, where X and Y are pixel dimentions of your bitmap file and finally paint all letters with colors from that color table. It's so simple. I am not a programmer, but an algorithm is fully described above. You may use some 58x15 picture to get the same eff- ect with this text box. It would be nice if you have orig- inal picture 58x30 or proportionally larger, then resample it to 58x15 and apply colors to every letter. You may even do this manually, it will take something about 5*58*30+600 = 9300 seconds = 155 minutes = 2.58 hours, but not a year. for caltulation were taken 5 seconds for every letter, and 600 seconda for resampling a picture. Regards, ad PS that sample you initially suggest contains 130 letters in every string. make one string per day, after a break- fast and you'll finish the same work in two months... ;) PPS find a friendly programmer and give him an algorithm - that's all you need.. ;) Well, if you succeed, drop me a sample of program, ok? ;))
