A recipie. How long has it been, since you had a rich, steaming plate of tamales? Remember how delicious tamales are? NO ONE can resist a well-garnished plate of REAL tamales, after all. Well, no longer will you have to wait around until you can afford to visit an expensive restraunt which serves such a delicasy. I'll share with you the easy recipie for making your own REAL TAMALES, right at home! The first thing you need, is some real tamale meat. Some folks will tell you to use beef, or chicken - this is a mistake! RULE ONE - you can't make a REAL tamale, without catmeat. Cat; it's the "other" red meat. A good-sized adult cat, when skinned out, should have enough meat on it's bones to make a six or eight tamales. Smaller cats and the immature kittens (often sought for their tenderness), won't yield quite as much meat, so adjust the number you will need, accordingly. Maybe you have a commerical source of pre-packaged cat. Let me suggest, however, that you kill and butcher your own. Skinning cat isn't as much of an ordeal as you may think. Also, because I'm a little bit worried that somebody might take his "recipe" seriously. WARNING! Weak-stomached cat lovers might not want to read further! 3. alt.romath where flame wars are actually on-topic. This is also one of the groups where I'm setting follow-ups. The reason that I include a couple of other groups in the follow-ups is that they are similar to alt.romath, and it's considered "good form" in those three groups to crosspost interesting threads to each other. Followups are set to alt.romath, alt.alien.vampire.flonk.flonk.flonk and alt.fan.karl-malden.nose. Please keep any followups to this post out of alt.ascii-art and alt.animals.felines. If you can't crosspost for some reason, please post your follow-up to alt.romath. If your server doesn't keep the group alt.romath you can access it through http://www.deja.com/ Yes I am trying to get some cat people into this. I guess that could be considered trolling. Please forgive me for that. What I really want is for this discussion to move over to alt.romath, and I also want some of JRO's statements in his "recipe" to be challenged by knowledgeable people. A little background for the cat people and the Romathians ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ What you see quoted below is the latest trolling attempt by a poster in alt.ascii-art who got himself into a little flame war with me during the past few days. Those of you who are interested in such things can enjoy it at Deja: http://www.deja.com/=dnc/[ST_rn=ps]/viewthread.xp?search=thread&recnum=%3c8404ni$bve$1@nnrp1.deja.com%3e%231/6&AN=564544280&svcclass=dnserver&frpage=getdoc.xp I get the distinct impression that JRO wants a fight, but he has so far refused my invitations to come over to alt.romath and join the flaming fun there. Sure! > and took it to some groups where you > think you might get some support in your argument with JRO Why not take a look there. The people who have posted so far agree with him, not me. That's a group of highly individual people (trolls) who don't obey anybody. They love verbal fights. One said he'd printed JRO's recipe and was putting it on his wall! The cat people have completely ignored it. That's all fine with me. > since you clearly > don't get enough support in this group. Even when half the people in the group are complaining loudly and saying things like "Please, move this discussion elsewhere"?!? Moving discussions to more appropriate groups is a perfectly normal thing to do. It is not much different to moving discussions to email - except it's still "official" and anybody who wants to can join in. > What's next, an "i hate JRO" page? I already did an "I love JRO's cartoons" page. I then handed it over to him. He did a few changes and a lot of updates to it (you can't recognise it now, compared to when it was new - it's all his now!).
