Like 4.5 and 4.6 it is even bigger. The Mail/News part is inferior to 4.0x (because it is designed to run full screen 800x600, like OE). The 4.0x Mail/News was still designed for 640x480 and can so be used (for me more important) in 640x1000 filling only 1/2 of an 1600x1200 monitor, allowing 2 full windows next to each other. Of course if you do go for an 4.5+ then 4.7 has the most bugs fixed. Note: They really should have called the 4.0x versions 4.x, and the 4.5/4.6/4.7 versions 5.0/5.1/5.2, that would have been more about the Changes and more in line with MSes IE/OE. AFAIK they have mainly replaced the entire rendering engine, i.e. the bit that reads HTML and displays it.
