The Flipside CCG, A Youth Center in Polson, Montana, a subsidiary of Prime Station, Incorporated, a tax exempt nonprofit corporation, is in desperate need of public donations to continue to offer its services to the youth and the public of our region. Any donations of $1 or more are appreciated. Tax receipts will be provided upon request. For more information on our programs, please visit our website. Posting inappropriate stuff (or even worse crossposting it) is not acceptable. > and the serious nature of the need, we > are willing to attract the flame mail for this netiquette > transgression. No personal problem is serious enough to advocate breaking public standards of decent behaviour, that evolved to protect society from being destroyed. Would you go robbing people at knifepoint to save your business? > Any donations of $1 or more are appreciated. The only thing I am donating you is the time for the mail to your provider attached below. > Tax receipts will be provided upon request. I doubt they are valid (at least here). Internet is an international medium, using it to broadcast local stuff is regarded as missfitting. -- Neil Franklin, Sysadmin, Architecture & CAAD + Architecture Dept. Take the neccessary steps to close down his account. BTW: The spammer claims to be working in an educational setting. Given this, his "we are willing to attract the flame mail for this netiquette transgression" stance is particularly bad. If you can arrange it, that either the youths (and so their parents) or his supperiors/employers find out about the reason for the closed account this would surely have an benefitial effect of reducing spammers in the future. I personally do not think that someone with such attitudes should be handling any educational function. -- Neil Franklin, Sysadmin, Architecture & CAAD + Architecture Dept.
